erm. . is 411 the latest stable bios? not beta arr?

i'm still a long way to go to fully unleash the potential of this board..
haven't get proc and ram yet.. still on budget parts..

for proc.. i know i'm getting e6300 la.. but ram.. no idea which one's the best buy..

Btw, hit 3.8ghz on pentium D 920 on stock cooling and stock voltage.. not stable though.. died after 20 mins of orthos.

411 seems stable so far. Currently playing with Elpida's so trying to get the best bandwidth timings even at 333Mhz. Will push up slowly later. Older Elpida's aren't as high flyers as nowadays

okie, this is weird.. my proc fan keeps revving up.. even though temp is around 45-50C. It revs up, den slows down, den rev up again.. @.@ any idea why arr? smart guardian shows the fan rev from 2.2k RPM to 3.0k RPM over and over again.

btw, the system is idle.. no load being placed on proc.

the one shown in the pic is an engineering sample. note the lack of heatsink on the southbridge and liquid caps used. I guess they must've been using a cheaper/test PWM.

Added on April 19, 2007, 10:07 pmbtw, dunno u guys notice or not.. most of the components are solder senget one.. lol.

Dang nice clocks. You're lucky using D9's. Can't seem to stabilise mine on Elpida's. Currently doing 8*333 instead stock volts but adjusted timings

EDIT: BTW, would appereciate if you guys posted results including which BIOS you're using. Thanks

i'm using original bios, never update anything, cause i heard from shawty said that the newer bios got a bit problem.

Pls take note:
this mobo got some compatiblity problem with ES processor and some D9 chipset ram.
try ur luck, mine one got no problem with GMH chipset.

and one thing,i'm using air cooling only....the temperature is quite hot.....
