Thats why we badly need reinforcement this season. We just replaced players not strengthening. Too depending on hazard n kante plus conte keep using underperform players. Please stop using azpi as rwb when we got zappa who can cross well.

we know mou very well, mou know chelsea very well

he will locks hazard, press our defenders + gk and try to get the ball in our half
we cant do anything but just long pass to their half and lost possession

A draw against MU will be a good result than a lost against MU considering our negative mentality. sad.gif

This is not a Mourinho season, more like a Conte season...... bangwall.gif

We don't have that kind of players who can perform consistently this season so my suggestion was a temporary change of system against Roma might not be a bad idea considering Roma's unbeaten record in the group table and playing in their own stadium. I do agree that we are missing real experience players tho. smile.gif
I didn't claimed 3-4-3 as a fluke but just for this Roma game, we needed a defensive formation considering the factors mentioned above. smile.gif

Conte been trying 3-5-2 but doesnt seem to work either. no Kante, our mid really soft. no matter what system, we missing Kante badly.

Drinkwater and Bakayoko actually not even 100%. Conte prefers Luiz as a CB, probably because Christensen doesnt have that long range passing like Luiz.

No, he prefer cahill. Because he is captain. Conte always using underperform players. How many times christeansen doing well when he got his chances but still he dont trust.
Cesc really poor, alonso week in week out no function but still earn his place.

I hate it when Conte played Azpi out of his position. The problem lies within our defenders and we keep on fielding the wrong players. Why the heck Conte are not giving Musonda a fair chance and Zappacosta also? We can see which player is hungry and which player is lazy........ ranting.gif

"I think we have to start again, maybe have the balance like last season, try to defend first and then look to score goals," Courtois added.

"This season we are conceding more chances than we did last year. We have to try to get that extra step in, that extra percent to stop actions, not be 90 percent. Maybe with a lot of games, sometimes you maybe go a bit less.

"Obviously it is different to last season. Injuries have been coming and not at a good time. We know how important N'Golo is for us, he is the guy that brings a lot of balance into the team. But we can't push him to play if he doesn't feel ready.

"Danny [Drinkwater] was also out for a long time as well. It means Tiemoue Bakayoko and Cesc Fabregas have played a lot of games in midfield and obviously that goes into their legs and it is harder for them to keep up the pressure, especially against the midfield three like Roma had." - Thibaut Courtois

Charly Musonda in talks with Arsenal after telling Chelsea he wants transfer

user posted image

QUOTE
Arsenal have made an approach to sign Charly Musonda after he informed Chelsea that he wants to leave, according to reports in France. Last month, the 21-year-old took aim at Chelsea on Instagram over his lack of playing time under Antonio Conte.

And Foot Mercato now claims that Musonda wants to leave Stamford Bridge in the upcoming transfer window and has no intention of signing a contract extension, with his current deal set to expire in June 2019. The report also claims that Arsenal have been alerted to Musonda’s desire to leave Chelsea and are ready to make a ‘firm offer’ for the Belgian.

Musonda has played only 26 minutes in the Premier League this season and has started just two games in the Carabao Cup. Speaking after Musonda’s rant on Instagram, Conte insisted that the midfielder would get chances to impress at Chelsea. ‘I spoke with him and I think Charly understood his mistake,’ said the Chelsea manager. ‘Honestly, I think he has to continue to work very hard to improve himself on the physical aspect and on the tactical aspect, but he is working very well.

‘He must continue to work in the way that he is and to be focused on the pitch and not on social media, because social media is not the most important thing for his career. I told him this and my task is to help him always find the right way, not the wrong way. ‘Honestly I think, above all with young players, it is very important to speak with them and to try to explain which is the right way. I did this. I am sure that he understood and I don’t see a problem with him. ‘Charly could have a good opportunity this season to play because we only have three No.10s: Hazard, Willian and Pedro. Usually two No 10s play, so this season could be good for him to show that he deserves to play.’

Oh dear........ bangwall.gif

Tottenham just beat RM 3-1 despite spending less last summer than us shocking.gif

Don't think conte can use that excuse anymore that board didn't spend money to bring in quality players, since pochettino can do it with less resources, relying heavily on youth development. Winks outplayed Kroos wtf

Gua mana? sweat.gif

that's too harsh to conte
spurs board and chelsea board are totally different

spurs board patient and gives manager times because they know they cant spend too much money... it's third seasons pochettino manage spurs, so pochettino can develop their youth players better than us - STABILITY

chelsea board? just look at the long list of manages/coaches the board fired, they want instant success, playing our youth players doesnt guarantee that, that's why not many youth players can start for senior team

we lost costa, matic, terry and etc, we brought in replacement, morata, bakayoko and christensen, but three of them still adapting themselves to epl~ strengthen part: apart from drinkwater, zappacosta and rudiger still adapting epl too, not to say we have no decent back up for alonso

and spurs still keep their squad, only lost kyle walker to mc and their brought in aurier as replacement, they strengthen their squad by brought in llorente, davinson sanchez and promote youth to senior team~ wait until they lose kane, dembele/wanyama and a leader in defend, we'll see how well they can adapt

its fun to watch epl dominate the CL currently and some of the team able to beat big team like spurs. on top of that, they manage to draw at Santiago Bernabeu. which ever the team are, i hope this year CL goes to England team. its has been a while since we dominate CL

Other managers can work with alternatives and use the correct tactics to win games, why is it so hard for us? From roma game, can see that conte still trying to force a 343, and did some changes (azpi to rwb, cahill to rb wtf) that caused the team to lose their synergy shocking.gif

Dreading MU game now, gua prepared already sweat.gif
