Conte is almost speechless. An easy game made difficult by the squad themselves. I don't really blame him but the squad. They are playing without any will to win. |

QUOTE Arsenal legend Ian Wright has slated Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi for his performance in defeat to Crystal Palace. Batshuayi was disappointing in a rare start for Blues. "I said a couple of weeks ago that Batshuayi should be very disappointed that he [Conte] would rather put Hazard up there," Wright said. "The problem I have got with him is he is not working defenders hard enough to get some space to get a chance in the box, that's what he needs. He needs to make movements to get this space. "When you watch him he doesn't move. His movement just doesn't have enough intensity about it, there's nothing in it. There were some fantastic balls [against Crystal Palace] but he was too late for many of them. "That's what he has to do, he has to earn the space. When you look at the movement he does there's nothing in it. Those are the things where you're going to get goals if you're willing to put the work in. "I think when a ball comes across you have just got to be willing to gamble and work hard to get the space, if he wants goals he's going to have to start working harder." |

Cascarino: Batshuayi has no future at Chelsea
Former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino can't see a future at Stamford Bridge for Michy Batshuayi. QUOTE Cascarino, who played 40 games for the Blues, says it's curtains for the former Marseille man. He told The Times: “When you are at a club and they are trying to sign a 32-year-old, 6ft 4in striker who would make you the third-choice No 9, then it's clear the manager doesn't rate you. “That's the situation Batshuayi has found himself in at Chelsea. "And even though Antonio Conte didn't sign Fernando Llorente, he's still trying to not play Batshuayi. “Against Manchester City last month, Conte replaced the injured Alvaro Morata with Willian after 35 minutes, then when they were chasing a goal against Crystal Palace he subbed Batshuayi on 57 minutes. “How many arrows can be fired into his back? “Conte clearly doesn't rate him and that rubs off on the fans, who think he's not good enough. “It's clear that his future lies elsewhere and I think he will leave the club in January." |

![]() Leicester City have sacked manager Craig Shakespeare just four months after he signed a three-year deal to take the job on a permanent basis. The Foxes are third from bottom in the Premier League and have not won any of their past six league matches. Shakespeare, 53, succeeded title winner Claudio Ranieri in February, initially on a temporary basis. After steering the Foxes away from trouble to finish in 12th place, he was given the job permanently in June. Shakespeare won eight of his 16 games in charge last season, and led the club to the Champions League quarter-finals. His departure follows a 1-1 draw with West Brom on Monday. The last time Leicester went six league matches without a victory, Ranieri was sacked - nine months after leading them to the title. Of their 10 matches this season - eight in the league and two in the EFL Cup - Leicester have won three and drawn three, losing four. But they have won only once in the league - a 2-0 victory at home to Brighton on 19 August. Their four defeats have come against Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool. ![]() Ruthless owner. They sacked their champion manager Claudio Ranieri and now his former assistant. Are they going for Carlo Ancelotti? |

With our squad getting thinner and thinner due to David Luiz and Bakayoko injuries the last thing we need is a dig from Mourinho. |

Chelsea should make a big effort to keep Conte. He is the master of tactician but one season wonder the Tinkerman is booked while the jobless double Ancelotti is available.

David Luiz fumes at substitution against Roma
David Luiz looked extremely unhappy with Antonio Conte’s decision to substitute him in last night’s Champions League game against AS Roma. The Brazilian turned to face the dugout when he saw his number on the fourth assistant referee’s board and shouted ‘Vaffa…. mister’ which translates as f… off boss, in English. The 30-year old is not expected to miss many games, as he looked okay when he was subbed. Conte later revealed the substitution was to protect the player. |

We have seen this type of cases in Chelsea. When we have low form, we always concede after scoring. This is not going to be a Mourinho season but a Conte season if we can't defend well.
These players need time to adapt with each other because all came from different top clubs with different tactics. |
