Those 2 laps doesn't make much difference as his gap to SP & GR cannot be recovered in 2 laps. He was even questioning why he was pitted as he was still pulling away from those 2 when at that time. I think typical Ferrari, indecisive and not good thinking on their feet on race strategies  as implied by NR during the race interview.

Cannot take away anything from MV, he is absolutely on it every single race for the last 1.5-2 years, rain or shine. Ferrari must do perfect job, both from team and driver aspect, race after race to beat MV, which is apparently too tough.

Aside from the Massi stroke of luck on him, he was still 2nd in last 4 races. Finishing 2nd or podium on his worse days was what made him deserve the title.

To be honest for me it's eye opening and fun to watch, MV did so many things such as brake check, surrendered position let Hamilton passed through due to track limit and quickly overtake back, wow. Really fierce competition just like wild animal world.

Compared to 2016 season, Hamilton keep winning the final few races while Rosberg just played safe for 2nd position without drama till the end, that was so boring.. but don't forget the final race Hamilton also did slowed down trying to push Rosberg to Vettel for overtaking

Porsche and RB - great combo or...?

I am beginning to believe that LH is not really that quick. GR has been faster(or at least matching him) throughout this season. Even DeVries was quick out of the box last weekend. I always thought he was overated but that was me just being biased towards him.

After max Spun also he can recover his pace so quickly. That RBR is bloody fast.... Hamilton just ran out of laps. Rain came too late as well else it would have been an exciting finish. And as usual by Ferrari 😂😂

Great race overall. Many predict that overtaking is next to impossible on this track but it’s so different in reality. Thanks to the changes made on the cars this season that we can see many ‘dramas’ on the track.

Fantastic finished by MV, all the way from P10 as well as Mercedes LH and GR for making a comeback in the middle of the season.

This race Mercedes showed signs of their performance gaining, from the shocking surprise pole by GR, then GR led the race for many many laps, able to hold fast charging Leclerc for a few laps, to Hamilton sudden surge in final stint with Soft tyre...

Lesson learnt today, Red Bull and Ferrari should beware, don't like this race Ferrari so confidence, handed pole to GR and podiums to Mercedes, lol.

Ferrari becomes a joker team! Lol. CL drove well yet again let down by the team strategy, don't know how much he can take this blunder after blunder after blunder. Some heads are gonna roll in Ferrari mgmt, most likely starting from the top, MB.
