Impressive, Ferrari customer team to get 3rd engine spec Ferrari PU this week, with 40hp extra. I guess Sauber or Haas may have opportunity to exploit with some Red Bull or Mercedes this week.

Lol, this is what Red Bull and Mercedes key focus this season, Mercedes has meet the PU development bottleneck...

and this the turning point hamilton will extend his lead and job alot tougher for vettel to win this year lol

I remember past few years Ferrari quite strong on wet condition, but it seems this year's Ferrari cannot perform on wet? They focused too much on power and speed forgot to cater for wet condition? Lol

Ferrari in Kimi's hand was surprisingly pretty quick in the wet and almost got pole if not for getting stuck in the spray behind other cars. Seb somehow was not as quick. Anyway in this kind of condition, Ham is still the best, not just about the car bu the driver too. So yeah tough task for Seb in the race today whether wet or dry, and Ham looks more likely to extend his points lead even more unfortunately. Hopefully Bottas and Kimi could spoil Ham's party during the start.

For tradition, winner of this race does not win championship. It could be Hamilton winning this race but bye bye to championship. Vettel-Ferrari will be overhauling his point lead on Monza, Singapore and few more. Lol

U always seem so sure about Ferrari but somehow they screw up everytime. Maybe u shouldn’t be so optimistic. Lol

I believe this year's Ferrari race car is a step above all competition, but have no confident on Vettel as chief driver whom always messed up on multiple occasion, lol...

Lol, Toto Wolff praised Bottas played a great wingman role, but Bottas was hurt and not wanted this role actually... Internal politic?

Disappointed Ric not taking Kimi seat to kick vettel's butt
*
Disappointed Hamilton not taking Kimi seat to repeat 2016 battle of teammate. Mercedes not capable of threaten Ferrari after this.
Then Ric shall take up Hamilton's seat at Mercedes

Ferrari on top in both FP1 & FP2.

I heard Hamilton fastest on one of the corner sectors but Raikkonen overcome that deficit on straights! What a change of hybrid PU power guardian! I'm gonna watch this race and Monza to witness the new King of PU! Italian gonna burn the sky red if Ferrari win 1-2

Seems luck on Hamilton this year

I'm predicting either Vettel will overtake Hamilton during the start; or during straight line. Hamilton keeps tailgating Vettel until Mercedes reliability hits again... PU overheat and have to stop, haha.

No power bro, engine no power. This is what Ferrari encountered previous years - second best PU but left behind Mercedes.

incredible merc lost at power circuit
lewis must be worried
*
Worry what? It's well known since Australia Mercedes already pointed out Ferrari has straight line speed advantage.
Upcoming Monza Ferrari will win by minimum 20 seconds margin.

Ferrari got magic trick to be fast but not fastest  icon_rolleyes.gif

It was fastest, Vettel used slowest mode conserving engine also ahead 11sec. Probably their slowest mode equal to Renault must powerful mode, haha.

I actually think that merc and ferrari are quite equals in term of performance. Just the straight line ferrari tends to do well also due to less wings in their setup.

On the first stint lewis able to cut down the leads shows merc engine still performs well.

Now it's all down to team strategy and driver with less error would crowns the championship title.

Lewis sour grape claiming ferrari with tricks just shows how bad loser he is. Actually i think he is the best drivers out there but claiming ferrari with interesting tactics and now with tricks just making him looks like clown.
*
Not really, Vetted didn't really push as the margin is still healthy. After back from pit stop you can see how fast Vettel open the gap meaning his car still have extra when really requiring to push.

Yeah, let's see if he able to achieve championship with the underpowered car. Alonso and Vettel failed to achieve that on previous inferior Ferrari. Since now Hamilton on the 2nd/3rd best car on the grid, achieve the championship will raise his "GOAT" status. Haha

Well Alonso was able to win during Renault time with slightly lesser car then Schumy's Ferrari and Kimi's McLaren! Seb & Ham are the ones who have not yet won the title with slightly lesser cars so yeah if Ham can pull this off, then he will raise his status. This achievement is actually really rare in F1 and only a handful of drivers were able to do it, only Alonso 2005/06 and Senna 91 and maybe 90 as far as I can remember since I started following F1. The rest like Piquet, Prost, Mansell, Schumy, Hakinen, JV, Damon, Kimi, Ham, JB, Seb, & Nico all won on top machinery.
*
Yeah, especially considering the fact Mercedes poor drivability at Monaco and Singapore tracks. Currently Hamilton done damage limitation at Monaco, let's see how he perform at upcoming Singapore.
