Wow, it seems Ferrari engine most powerful this season!
They able to continuously use party mode since Free Practice and dominating the Qualifying! Mercedes has no answer on straight line speed to Ferrari since Melbourne.

So we are coming to the new Ferrari Powerful Engine era? Haha.
You see when last Melbourne qualifying even though Hamilton tapao them by big margin and Ricciardo crying party mode, Vettel with different opinion stating it's not Mercedes PU helped Hamilton. I think Ferrari side confidence their engine are up-to Mercedes level if not more powerful.

This year's Ferrari is unbeatable! Strategy, Tyre-friendly, powerful Party Mode engine.

Gone are the days of Ferrari's stupid strategy, bursting tyre on final moment due to over-usage, lost to Mercedes in Qualifying. They have everything to win the championship this year.

I think regardless Bottas drove quicker in more laps, outcome still the same. He has to overtake the almighty Ferrari-Vettel, it's a hard task. Mercedes are not good in tailgating behind as the turbulence causing their downforce not working well...

It is expected the radical changes on this year's Ferrari race car to be more effective than the conservative design of Mercedes.

If Qualifying Mercedes can't even beat Ferrari, then it just a walk for win for Ferrari. I was actually hoping to see Mercedes stealing the pole and watch Ferrari-Vettel catching up overtaking on race. Mercedes sucks on following behind so Ferrari can safely secure their position on race with even performance or better PU.

Wow, if Vettel gonna win tomorrow, the championship pretty much belongs to Vettel. Mercedes, try again next year if tmr you lose the game, haha.

I don't think Euro circuits will do any good to Mercedes this year. Bahrain is hot so by right it's Ferrari strong point. Ytd China qualifying was cooler and Mercedes struggle as well. Now hot or cooler condition Mercedes also cannot perform.

This year's Mercedes is the 3rd team in terms of car pace, strategy, and drivers. Ferrari and Red Bull can swipe them anytime. I bet this year Merc will take less than 8 wins, haha.

This year's Mercedes poor form resemblance Ferrari's year 2005, dominating from 2000 and ending 2004 with high then on 2005 suddenly dropped to 3rd team.

won't, mercedes don't have horsepower to be in front of vettel. it would be vettel cruising to victory. mercedes PU cars all slower while Ferrari PU cars were quicker than last year...

This year Ferrari's engine is powerful. They managed to trim down weight and also breaking 1000hp barrier.
Mercedes on other hand play safe and revert back to 2016 engine oil spec. No wonder no more horsepower advantage coz lesser oil burn, haha.

Both Ferrari and Mercedes oil consumption rate are near the permissible threshold, with Mercedes decided to roll-back while Ferrari continue using it.
Meanwhile, I'm wondering when will Petronas or Shell launch these "horsepower gain" engine oil to the market? imagine those VW, Audi and few other performance "oil burner" engine able to gain a few hp by switching to those oil. also maybe those very old car burning engine oil can upped their horsepower as well.

This is because Ferrari topped Q1 and Q2 with Soft so they believed their car was so great that using Soft able to get pole without problem. With Super Soft they will be miles ahead and everyone will be Red Eye crying Party Mode etc.
