QUOTE(6UE5T @ Oct 22 2018, 07:08 PM) Ah ya my bad! Well he should've won back in Monaco 2017 if Ferrari did not stitch him up to favor Seb. Monza he could've won too if not for Ferrari to mess up the pit timing. It's just a pity that the win came too late hence Ferrari had decided to let him go. Toto's face, well that's just small disappointment because they have to keep the victory champagne and t-shirts under wrap for another race but nothing like disastrous disappointment. I think Max honestly did not know. No point talking about could've or should've now. He could've been multiple world champion in McLaren if not for reliability woes. Funny moment though that Max comment, with the camera on sumore

QUOTE(voscar @ Oct 22 2018, 10:55 PM) yeah, this year merc will enjoy their last championship for v6 hybrid turbo engine era. next year will be ferrari glory year, it will take a few years for competitor to catch-up with their holy PU power. Can't shake the feeling that Ferrari is up to something with Sauber next year. Maybe they have Sauber as a test team for parts?

QUOTE(6UE5T @ Jan 28 2019, 10:03 PM) Proves that F1 drivers are still the best as they can still easily win in other racing disciplines but others cannot easily win in F1. Actually proves Alonso still got the fire. Few F1 refugees in the race.

In other news, even race-winning drivers can't get break. The Jackie Chan DC Racing LMP2 team has replaced its entire line-up for its #37 entry in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Jazeman Jaafar, Weiron Tan and Nabil Jeffri, who contested all five 2018 WEC races in the Jota Sport-run #37 Oreca, will not continue for the remaining three rounds of the 2018/19 superseason at Sebring, Spa and Le Mans. It's understood the change stems from Sepang International Circuit terminating its financial backing of the Malaysian trio, who won their first race at Fuji last October and lie third in the LMP2 drivers' standings. Taking their place for the 1000-mile Sebring race and Spa will be IndyCar racer Jordan King, ex-Formula 1 driver Will Stevens and the silver-rated David Heinemeier Hansson, a former Le Mans 24 Hours class winner. https://www.motorsport.com/wec/news/jota-lm...ebring/4330180/What a shame!

QUOTE(6UE5T @ Feb 20 2019, 08:41 AM) Yeah Williams staying at the bottom seems the only sure thing. 😀 I don't know why the media made a big deal of Kimi spinning out in the gravel in his outlap. I felt it was impressive he put the Alfa in 5th with a lot of trouble free laps. I don't remember Alfa(Sauber) ever being that far up in so many years. Usually they are in the bottom half. His teammate also a respectable 6th on the 2nd day.

The Toro Rosso Honda seems fast(and reliable), really a kick in the face for McLaren. Renault also pretty strong. And again, Sauber pace quick and consistent despite Kimi saying he is not pushing the car yet. Hopefully we get a lot of different winners this season.

QUOTE(6UE5T @ Feb 22 2019, 05:22 PM) Honestly I don't want Mercs to be at the back coz I don't want Lewis to end up like Alonso then we 'd loose another champ due to just bad car. Not the back. Midfield would be good enough for me. Time for new era. Hopefully teams like Alfa and Torro Rosso can get podiums regularly for a change.

QUOTE(princesa @ Mar 15 2019, 01:49 PM) hi, has anyone bought or planning to go for China's F1? Can I know which web to buy tickets from or how to go about getting a ticket? You can buy from official website. https://tickets.formula1.com/en/3182-china-fom/Most sold out already. This post has been edited by Aydee: Mar 15 2019, 03:23 PM

QUOTE(princesa @ Mar 15 2019, 04:31 PM) but that website is mainly sold out. I saw some other websites but am wondering whether is there any fake ones... Some real, some scalpers(buy officially and sell higher price). That's why buying from official website safer. On the other hand, the official Shanghai Circuit sell but the website looks appalling, don't know if it's real or not. https://www.f1-shanghai.com/e/https://www.f1-shanghai.com/Judge for yourself. First, I am super glad hamilton didn't win and bottas get to walk all over him by 20 odd seconds. Midfield seems pretty close with 5 different teams racing for 5th. Alfa confirming they are really a contender for best of the rest. Poor ricciardo never had that good a luck at home race but still sad for him and the fans. The renault has good pace. I dunno what happened to williams, I'd thought with the bottas deal they would've had better leverage by now. Finally wtf mclaren?!? I think it's time for zak brown to go. They are running out of excuses and people to blame.

QUOTE(voscar @ Apr 1 2019, 05:18 PM) Preferred Alonso to replace Mr. V instead. Now this red Ferrari is competitive and Alonso could snatch another championship. Alonso never ruled out returning but then he could bring back his bad luck with him.
