If you were to send in for warranty, will you get an extension?

If you were to send it now, you will get it back in ... erm... let's say around early July. If you're really unlucky, then you xbox might not make it here and they they send it back to SG again (like what happened to Leenaz)

I don't know man, if you're gonna void your warranty, be mentally prepared that it might die. If you're not prepared to accept that, go the long road and send it in to SG.

No worries lar. Like I mentioned earlier, my xclamp a bit senget, that's why it died. If yours is still OK, don't worry about it. I don't think you should hang out in this topic too much. You're worrying over nothing.

Go get GRAW2, join us play that stupid map, then we have tons of things to worry about. Just ask Silen5er. 9 hours man!!!! I still can't believe it.

is the best that you send back to the gameshop.

do remember there will be always risk .. the x clamp might .. and I said again might not work on certain condition..

(but from my analysis and others people machine here as well) mostly all error can be fixed via x clamp replacement.

my kotak x kena 3batang oredi.. damn.. was playing graw2 just now.. then suddenly across the screen kena all the crap white lines.. then off all n on back.. same syit.. damn.. im sodam sad

Its not that hard if you have the right tools...

I notice that most of the people who got thick white lines will get 3rol eventually. I fixed a console which is healthy but occasionally get the thick white lines and the hanged... so i did the x-clamp and then the 3rol appeared showing error 0020 (of coz the error just appeared once and be gone forever ).

For those who have experience this thick white lines, it is better to be mentally prepared for the dreadful 3 ROL (not 3ROD anymore).

ya... so decided to for operation la..
its bound to happen la i guess.. just a matter of time.

Erm.. actually i will said that it is really a matter of time to get hit by the 3rol because the x-clamps are designed to pull the nuts and push the chips (which is the soldering of the chips).. so as your xbox360 continues to expand the clamps thru heat... one day the soldering of the chips will be push to such a level that the 3rol appears.

It is smart for them to design it that the heatsinks and the chips are closed together through the clamps but then they discounted the possibilities of the chips being pushed too hard upwards...

really like a time bomb lah... you and me both bought together and same batch too...

Mine Jap machine at home, still working but my bro didn't play it that often.
My UK PAL machine almost 1 year (few more months)....

Mine...1 year 3 months already..playing it aggressively every bloody day..sometimes up to 12 hours....wonder why mine is still OK.....

maybe u just lucky got a non 3rod xbox360
