simply because our connection goes to some server (i believe it's in the USA). so there's many more hops just for packets to travels.

direct connection doesn't seem to work well.

*Just figured that my VPN + Torrent problem has something to do with the UAC/Run as Administrator thing. Maybe I shud run C&C3 as administrator too?? Annoying..

But in-game, it should be a direct connection to the players or EA would be paying through their noses for the bandwidth consumption, not to mention the already laggy lobbies..

I'm getting mostly yellow, with occasional red days and very very very rarely, green. Living near bandar utama/taman tun doktor ismail(KL/Selangor).

Well Aus in general does not have such good connection since its kinda alienated from the world a 8 MBps does not mean you have less hops. It just means that you have a 8MBps bandwidth.

is this computer setup enough for playing with low/medium resolution & detail ?

Um.. my 6800GS is kinda equivalent with 7600GS.

In XP I have no problem running High Setting at 1280 x 1024 with my 6800GS which I believe... with your 7600GS... you might be able to achieve the same results...

Get 8600GT la... more future proof

I notice those German guy always kick you if you got bad connection. Thos eplayers I play with are non german in lobby 6.

That is why I seldom play online nowadays... my connection keep on dying on me..

Anyone know the possible causes when I play c&c 3, after maybe a few minutes in gameplay....the whole system just crash.....blank screen. keyboard wouldnt work and no sound....can't even do anything except reset.

Any idea? my settings are all set to the lowest
