final mission of which campaign?

i play normal mode all the way. this game is easy. i think i'm going to try hard mode soon.

2nd last?
The one where we need to destroy a huge Alien spaceship or something?

I captured NOD base and make nuclear missile.
Easy compare to the previous one.

Final mission is the one that have NOD in the north and Invaders in the east?
Started already.

Hard difficulty.
My mistake, not the last mission...the 3rd last mission.
Before the mission above...the screenshot.
1st time we saw the invaders Tripods and air vehicles with SHIELDS
Damn...so tense.

Weak against Sonic Emitters though.

how do i edit the config files to get all the intel reports for gdi and nod?
seems to be missing some

I'm thinking of reformating my PC (wanna try Vista)..

So I wonder... all the settings, save games, replays and the data including the online ranking and playing record (how long we play in mission, skirmish and multiplayer) is stored in My Document/Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars right??

So as long as I save and backup this file everything else will remain intact when I have reinstall the game correct?? Just want some clarification before I dare to format my PC.



*Before this I never bothered saving any file when I uninstall / reformat my PC. So I didn't know if the data is in My Document, installed folder or maybe in C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Application Data...

yeah it should be on those folders.

as for online ranking, it should be on their server.

Completed GDI's final mission on hard difficulty
Nod giving me a hard time...kept bombing my refinery...in the end I got 10 harvester...
meaning that I lost 10 refinery

Did not follow Chewbacca's advise on Liquid Tiberium
Got and used all three(3) superweapons; Ion cannon, alien superweapon (bift) and Nod nuclear
missile.

Those ion cannon won't work on the alien's node

I wonder, what happened if we use Liquid Tiberium to win the mission?
I did not use it and got congrats by the Jeneral and Boyle resigned.

NOD's Shadow were so effective.
Stealth into enemy's base and blew up to cripple them.
Cheap too.

Just spam mammoth for avatar. For the devastator, build firehawks. Very useful to shoot them down.

My apologies.
At 1st I also felt Zone Troopers were better than Mammoth Tank in GDI.
After that, Mammoth rocks.

I had a few difficulty myself.

Imagine, played the mission 30 minutes...then gave up after they hustle my base
with all those shielded units
I start the mission so many times.

My tips:

Always pay attention (repairing building) while being attack.

1. In each mission, always complete the Bonus Objective (BO) A.S.A.P
In this case, BO is to destroy the Air Node Tower if not mistaken.

2. Speed is the key. Try three(3) refineries, could do better.
Sonic Emitter. AA guns. Mammoth tanks since they can fire ground and air.

3. Sonic Emitter (needs a lot of power plant) so effective against ground units.

4. Rig - deploy near base and will repair units (Mammoth Tank) while defending the
base. Build Sonic Emitter close to it as well.



5. Commando - move it to the right below map (where Air Node Tower is).
When you saw a few building nearby the Air Node Tower , use Ion cannon.
It won't destroy the Air Node Tower building completely. Use the Commando to finish the job.

6. Ion Cannon - disable/'kacau' the invader's Air Node Tower productions (since their units were so menacing...the reason we're having a bad time in this mission.

7. One airfield, more better - the Firehawk is very effective using air to air missiles as well as air to ground bombs.



Once you destroyed the BO, you'll felt a little ease in the game and can start concentrating on
defence of your base.

DON'T FORGET TO SAVE GAME EACH TIME.

I gotta say the overall game pretty much satisfied

Pretty cool the way they intro Scrin to a new campaign (altho most peeps expected theres Scrin campaign).

So, now at least i can play some online games
