My car ETA is mid July.

Also confirmed with my SA the OTR without insurance cost of my modern steel metallic TC-P is RM122,931 after 0% GST and Raya rebate.

I'm thinking of getting all of these and sports pedal (he's checking price before quoting me that), is this a good idea? I've never heard of HyperGard (seems like a local brand) and GM-Tech (local brand also) but both the tinting and coating come with 5 year local warranty.

If my SA can offer such price i will go ahead, the reason because if do it outside Honda give a ton a reason void warranty...

No idea, but I already booked CQuartz Professional from Waxson. Like their service and products. My previous car went for Permanon Diamond coating 6 years ago and it is still shiny like a new car.

Bulk of the costs are actually with the detailing rather than the costs of the coating in my opinion. Has anyone really done different brand coated cars side by side or even compared a coated car to a non coated but properly washed and maintained one?

If you are really hardworking. You can save those money and buy a bottle of those glass or ceramic coat and do it yourself right after you run a pass or two of polishing through your properly washed car.

Expected costs for DIY, no more than RM500. Is the results better or the same as professional coating? Beats me, but you saved RM1.2k.

Tinting wise, it is up to you la. Never heard of the brand. Hard to say.

There are other mid tier brands that you can opt for in those price range.

Think about it.

As for coating or tinting or whatever, the workmanship of the shop is my priority. Any shops can use expensive product but if the shop workers cincai detail your car like crap, better do it myself.

but... I'm so lazy to do DIY detailing for the past couple of years. Just wanna hop in and drive with the little precious free time i get during weekends instead of detailing.

Yes you can play carplay music while using Garmin Navigation going. But muted I’m not too sure. You can reduce the navigation volume yes, but i can’t be sure if it’ll reduce the volume of carplay music when there is a navigation direction even if it’s muted. Will test it out tomorrow.

Auto headlight levelling works automatically on the TCP. It won’t be fast enough for it to be noticeable when you go up and down speedbumps though. It’s not listed anywhere, but I’m guessing it’s designed more like the headlight level adjuster on non-tcp civics - depending on your boot, passengers etc. You can read more about the headlight adjustment on non-tcp civics in the FAQs.

Well, you can't blame the banks. They are not a charitable organization you see.

They need assurance you have the ability to pay your loans up.

If you have an established a clear credit line and you have not exceeded the bank's established DSR limits, they should have no issues approving you. That, or they ask you to show your bank account which has more than the sufficient amount to cover the loan. But, who is so stupid to put money in the bank for them to take your money to loan it back to you and charge you an interest right?

So, naturally they want a guarantor and when that guarantor is your dad which might be nearing his retirement age i guess? They too want to ask for him to prove his financial background in order to be your guarantor.

So, i don't see any faults in that. It is just procedures part of their SOP i guess.

Looking at this from their point of view although i understand the wait period kills you.

They have every right and every reason not to trust you. That is how banks operate.
