dont understand why you all say only get 1k rebate.
honda official website advertise 2k for civic, so at least can get 2k, and more from SA. https://www.honda.com.my/happening/20/a-one-time-only-offer |

QUOTE(yangg6 @ Oct 15 2020, 08:24 PM) ![]() I just got my car a week ago and I spotted this tiny yellow dot today. Anyone knows what is this or any way to remove it. I have been trying to wipe it off but no luck. The surface is smooth to touch as if the dot is in the paint. Try using wax to remove. |

QUOTE(mcchin @ Oct 25 2020, 10:40 AM) Different ppl different situations Don’t think you need ipa to remove cleaner wax, can just wax / seal over itFor me,my car is kinda outdoor, apartment style Covered overhead, but open air sides, front and back Even a week of no driving will accumulate some dust, and after rain, mostly light rain nowadays, the water droplets is full of dust And being lazy, also change a weekly affair to maybe a monthly do So each time wash afterwards need to use cleaner wax to clean car properly the use ipa wipe to remove the cleaner wax, then only use the targeted wax / sealant |

QUOTE(mcchin @ Oct 25 2020, 11:45 AM) The idea is I want the base to be the best one instead of the cleaner wax base Your call....Let say ( which I intend to do next) My current wax sealant is soft99 fusso coat that's seen better days When washing, the white car seems to have whiter streak, not so even in colour Even clay barring will get to a certain point only Cleaner wax will even out the whole car But now I want to use turtle wax seal n shine Not gonna do over the cleaner wax layer... So need to wax on to clean and wax off with ipa to prepare surface for turtle wax seal and shine layer But have you thought before, using too much of IPA to remove the waxes might also eat your clear coat? |

QUOTE(vassilius @ Oct 27 2020, 04:04 PM) wanna ask, i'm still considering my tint spec.. perhaps u guys can advise abit... what brand are you going to use?is Honda Civic screen comes abit tinted stock? i am thinking to apply the following spec: FWS: VLT60% All other windows: VLT40% will this be too dark? i'm not looking at darkness level where others can't see inside. just wanna have abit of privacy. Anyone has applied the above spec on ur Civic before? wat's the feedback? Thanks. different brand has different tint colour, some are reflective if you want privacy, tint the reflective type. |

QUOTE(luvox @ Nov 4 2020, 04:50 PM) Ya, UC6 need higher psi to prevent uneven wear at the side thread, which happen on my x70 tyre. manufacturers recommend you to pump your tires according to the car's specied recommended tyre pressure - you can find this info on a sticker beside your door. For every 10° fluctuation in air temperature, vehicle tire pressure will adjust by about 1 psi. Cold pressure is not very accurate unless u stay beside petrol station where u fill ur tyre air. The time u start ur engine mayb 23 degree celcius but once u reach the petrol station it mayb already 30 degree celcius. The 35/36psi that u mention is not for cold pressure I hope u dont get confused 😂 and it is recommended to pump your tire early in the morning. |

QUOTE(ericcc @ Nov 26 2020, 05:12 PM) my car, after delivery, oil life at 3000km, left 7000km. tak masuk akal. mileage less than 1000. factory run in engine 2000km? What do you mean by oil life at 3000km? Any indicator showing this or your own assumption?Us usually the cars maintenance schedule is about 6-8000 km, depending on how you drive. If mostly highway can get higher mileage before service, but more traffic jam or slow driving, mileage reduces. |

QUOTE(vassilius @ Dec 14 2020, 01:33 PM) do those wet wipes in the grocery store contains chemical that would damage the car's coating or paint? Waldo, so kiasi meh? It’s just a car, can wash and wax it If so saying need to keep it under the roof and don’t use it anymore. The day you register your ride, depreciation starts, no matter you use it or not, so please enjoy your ride, don’t think so much. As long you take good care of the car ok la. No need saying till the car is much more important than your life / your face. Do you think twice using wet tissue on your face or skin? |
