Yeah this SA is my friend. So... I ordered the screen protector and the gear level protector. What else do I need...

I cannot overstate the seriousness of a protective layer (not ceramic coating) as the paint is fuarking thin.

I would say invest some cheap lip splitter as well as the likes of Honda own front bumper garnish
that is the most easy to scratch up

Dashcams would be a necessity nowadays

with a brand new car, apply mirror coating like Soft99 Ultra glaco

some fragrance for your brand new car perhaps?

oh, when you get the car, check for the tyre pressure
as they usually over inflate them

Interesting to hear this Titan 7 brand appearing here... never came across, but googled and it is forged rims from the US... whats the price range like? Rays Engineering range?
*
So far in my knowledge and research it's the cheapest forged rims that has also included designed for fk8. Ya like mcchin mentioned USD 500 range per rim.

yup my front sensor have delay for sure. but the back sensor i think cant feel delay?
If you think got synchronization issue with your sensor, maybe can try reset it?. I remember i saw the instruction somewhere (cant remember biggrin.gif )

Honda probably programmed a delay since whenever a bike pass by it will beep. Considering the irritation even with delay, its going to be extra irritating if there's no delay. The problem is when I park the car, the front sensor will activate/beep after a delay hence need wait till the beep appear then continue moving the car forward (only if you rely on the below smile.gif . I'm not sure what is the best solution for front sensor, maybe give us the Disable Button for the Front sensor only?

I first thought to use Disable Sensor button but unfortunately its meant for both front and back sensor. Abit dangerous for me since i like to reverse park with my back sensor and i tend to forget i disabled the sensors. I think to disable the front sensor only, would need to follow a few steps to program the sensor (cant remember the step).

The sensors are not for detecting bike passing by, and bike zoom by, ofcoz the sensor delay. I'm impressed the sensor still can detect when bike zoom by.

Those sensors are for detecting object near to your car for your parking ease. Not for detecting moving objects.

I noticed new facelift civic feels lighter than the old one

Also, the roll at cornering feels more. I drove my friend's pre facelift civic fc and it feels more stable hmm.gif

sensor supposed to detect anything in the sensor range and must be real time at least near real time

the delay really significant, if there's something infront confirm hit first before sensor making sound

try ride other car with front sensor and see what i'm talking about. even my 2013 e200 sensor also realtime.. paid 100k ++ car got sensor from stone-age

Down to your budget vs requirement

Basic dashcams is those that record while the car is driven
(Simply said, need to be powered by the 12v port)

Higher dashcam can connect to battery but requires sentry mode
Where the unit powered down when no movement is detected in it's field of vision

This will ensure no battery draining till empty

You want it to be hidden, like unit itself or the cables?
Cable is easy as long as it's long enuff

Unit hidden... Well depends on which brand/model/ type you select
Some is sleek and stick up to the windscreen away from your fov
I chosen yi youth cam for front and 70mai for the rear

Front with yi youth cam can act as clock when in use
And the rear 70mai is quite discrete

All wires are tucked into the a pillar, headliners for the rear and routed behind the glove box (don't remove the glovebox dampeners, a bitch to put it back)
So there is no wires to be seen or dangling

As for the screen protector, the idea is to stick from 1 side to the other
This will ensure that there is no gas trapped between the screen and the protector
Clean hands, still air inside the car will ensure the dusting to the minimum

So move at slow pace, don't turn on the car and aircon
And wait a bit for the dust to settle down
Would recommend stick from top push down to bottom

What car were you driving before this?

I don't own any of the high performance cars before... so basically the pre FL Civic suspension actually felt pretty good, and ride is planted.
