i have not yet open the game since episode prompto came out. even then i have not yet finish playing that episode lol

i have missed out so much, especially with this assassin cross crossover thing

you can done AC crossover in 2 hour. As for EP Prompto depend on you. If you wanna finish all Side Quest then at least 4- 5 hour.

i only manage to play a few hours yesterday but so far so good. To finish the DLCs, I think you might need >20-30hr of gameplay. You need to grind meteorshard (to generate electricity) in order to open up new area and quests.

If you play solo you don't need PS+. You can recruit AI players to join you in your hunts and frankly, they seem to be the better option for now since hunting with real players causes a few small issues such as extra loading/wait times (so much loading...) and bosses taking way too long to spawn during missions.

Pro tips - Look closely at the weapon that you upgrade. There's actually a white bar below the weapon stats

If got, this means the weapon can be remodeled into a more powerful version. You just need to fill the bar full before the weapon hit max level upgrade.

For example, the Onikiri Katana (70++ ATK max) can be re-modeled into an Ashura (spam 1 of the stats to 50 with fire-elemental upgrade items) which have 240 ATK in the early game. Quite OP

just play for 2 hour... overall the game is fun and you can play along with ai.. dont have to find other 3 real players to take on the quest.

I'm at level 10 and falling asleep playing Comrades. The movements are so slow and clumsy compared to the main game and there's just so many loading screens. Quests are way too repetitive.

how's the story? any other gameplay beside the 4 people hunting quest?


hahaha, i would expect so, the repetitive quest. yeah, ff15 one downside is the loading time... i once fell asleep during loading

the story is bout you lost your memory then you regain your memory after finish the quest


i expected repeating quest lol, hunt monster, gain electric power back to the city. That basically the main quest of the game.

the thing is I dont mind the grind but the LOADING is seriously...

yes, loading is really boring lol

i actually have a Kenny Crow joining my quest last night lol. i lv 10 taking the malboro urgent quest. he joined as ai lv20 kek.

one thing i dont like beside the loading, is the items farming. one time can get till 11 of specific items i want to farm in 1 quest, other time only get 1 or 2

Truly agree on this one, the loading is exceptionally long.. I wish they would have included a replay match on the campsite rather than us going back to the camp with the horribly long loading screen lol would make farming mats much more decent and all

Final Fantasy XV update

Square Enix detailed the future content roadmap for Final Fantasy XV during its Active Time Report commemorating a year since the game’s release today.

Here is what players can expect:

-Details about the future content Square Enix plans to offer will be decided by the end of 2017. From there, they will officially announce what content will be released at what timing, and in what form it will be offered.

-Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata said that he wants to release at least three “Episode” add-ons in 2018, starting with an episode for Ardyn. Many users pointed out that the way they depicted the backbone of the world was insufficient, but Arydn’s episode will lead to a proper depiction of the world’s story.

-Tabata is aware that fans want to see an episode for Luna.

-For future additional content, Tabata wants to release them when they are in a state of absolute sufficiency. In 2018, the importance is not on releasing the content, but rather the plan has changed to releasing the content in a state where each one is properly sufficient.

-Not only does Tabata want to meet the users’ expectations, he wants to betray expectations and create developments that will even get those who have cleared the game and lost interest re-interested.

-A December-due update for Final Fantasy XV will add the ability to freely swap between Noctis, Gladiolus, Prompto, and Ignis in the main story, Square Enix announced.

Episode Ignis
Square Enix has shared new information on the upcoming Final Fantasy XV downloadable content “Episode Ignis.”

Here are the tidbits:

-Play time is between one and two hours if you only follow the story.

-After you clear the story, a different route unlocks. It follows the flow of the original story, and changes to the different route when Ignis makes a certain decision. This route is mainly a boss battle, and is considerably difficult. The ending of this route was created with the thought that they wanted it to be seen by users who were moved by the ending of the main story.

-The story is the densest among the Final Fantasy XV add-ons.
-After you clear the story, a battle against Noctis will become available.

“Episode Ignis” is due out on December 13.

I still need to buy the season pass, probably when it's on sale.

After so much hype, I succumbed and got myself the season pass. Finished Episode Gladiolus (which was surprisingly quite enjoyable despite being linear) and dived straight into Comrades (because FOMO mah).

First 3 hours were spent with AI party members which was quite okay. Caved in last night and subscribed to 1 month PS Plus just so I can test online mode. Surprisingly the level of enjoyment was not improved significantly; I reckon it would only be fun when played with "actual friends". A major advantage (or could possibly a disadvantage) would be having super high level players joining your party thus enabling one to complete missions way beyond one's level (but a large level gap could take away the fun by shortening the mission to 3 minutes instead of 20 minutes).

Things I like so far :
-Missions are not draggy hence the game is suitable for players who are unable to clock in long hours after work/players who like to cramp in at least an hour before sleeping
-Great character customization options
-Good amount of fan service. So far I've met and play alongside a few favorites from the campaign version
-The option for one to complete the game with AI alone
-Game mechanism actually provides immense sense of accomplishment

Things I dislike :
-Loading takes so damn long sometimes
-Need to pay extra to enable multiplayer
-Limited conversation options (you expand your vocab via purchase of Conversation Books which unlocks dialogue options) ....seems unnecessary
-Player matching takes a bit too long sometimes and it can get buggy hence one will be stuck @ loading screen

Any players who are also late to Comrades? Perhaps we form a party.

take too damn long to find party.. so I rather play with A.I sometime but by next update SE will improve the loading time... so we shall see by then

multiplayer is because of sony lol. i wonder how Fortnite works tho, since it is multiplayer and its free lol.
and yes, the vocab books are seriously wtf moment for me. zzz. loading time is the most negative thing i can say about ffxv as a whole hahaha
