Got my 2 Quantum cards. I think both are pretty useful for dining, departmental store purchases and online purchases. CIMB Cash Back is now pretty useless so I will cancel it and replace with the Quantum master. It seems my HL Mach are no longer useful as well as Quantum master has the dining cash back too.
The only question is what cards I should put in my wallet. Full of cards lol |

Hi, may I know the minimum supporting documents required for quantum card application? Are payslip, ea statement, epf statement, employment letter all required? Or I just submit payslip n epf statement will be sufficient?

i apply my PBB quantum card through ringgit plus. the promo was swiping rm250 to get TNG card but i have some questions, do i need to swipe both cards as in rm250 each card? (i receive both visa and master) is it rm 250 for 1st swipe or commulative swipe in 45 days? (the staff told me to swipe both card with rm250 as the first transaction) anyone have similar experience can share? thank you |

PBB VS card for AA online purchase entitled CB right.
Want to ask/confirm: the CB circle is follow statement date right? planning to buy AA tickets, but realized my statement date is on 27th... if purchase AA tickets today, mean I will max out my CB and not worth it. are my understanding correct? |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Oct 25 2017, 10:11 AM) yes, per statement cycle. just get my VS card last month so still not so familiar with the rule..however, there's hope if you swipe for AA tickets now, but it get posted after 27 Oct, then the cb is on your next cycle. as per tnc, 6% Cash Rebate is capped at RM50 per month per principal account just to make clear: Scenario A, my statement date is 16 oct I have swiped rm100 online on 01/10, so the cash back on 16/10 statement is rm6. then I swipe rm855 online on 17/10, and I swipe rm100 on 01/11, so the cash back on statement 16/11 is rm50. is that mean that I will lose the cash back for the rm100 on 01/11? Scenario B, my statement date is 16 oct I have swiped rm100 online on 01/10, so the cash back on 16/10 statement is rm6. then I swipe rm855 online on 01/11, so the cash back on statement 16/11 is rm50. next month I swipe rm100 online on 17/11, so the cash back on statement 16/12 is rm0. is that mean that I will lose the cash back for the rm100 on 17/11? thanks This post has been edited by wan7075: Oct 25 2017, 01:46 PM |

The swipe date is known as TRANSACTION DATE. It will take few days (minimum 1 day) for the merchant and bank to process/post a transaction. |

Scenario B, my statement date is 16 oct I have swiped rm100 online on 01/10, so the cash back on 16/10 statement is rm6. then I swipe rm855 online on 01/11, so the cash back on statement 16/11 is rm50. next month I swipe rm100 online on 17/11, so the cash back on statement 16/12 is rm0. is that mean that I will lose the cash back for the rm100 on 17/11? you would get RM6 cb on 16/12 statement. reason is rm100 swipe on 17/11 is after your statement on 16/11, so it falls to next cycle. thanks scenario B is better. note: all based on assumption the transaction get posted within the same cycle and eligible for cb. QUOTE(cybpsych @ Oct 25 2017, 01:55 PM) refer inline comment. for scenario B,scenario B is better. note: all based on assumption the transaction get posted within the same cycle and eligible for cb. 01/11 rm855 get rm50 17/11 rm100 get rm6 total = rm56 for November so mean this statement is incorrect? => 6% Cash Rebate is capped at "RM50 per month" per principal account. and it should change to capped at "RM50 per monthly statement" cycle. now I need to recalculate back my spending. QUOTE(wan7075 @ Oct 25 2017, 02:08 PM) for scenario B, 01/10 rm100 get rm6 17/10 rm855 get rm50 total = rm56 for October so mean this statement is incorrect? => 6% Cash Rebate is capped at "RM50 per month" per principal account. and it should change to capped at "RM50 per monthly statement" cycle. now I need to recalculate back my spending. this is why one of the FAQ in any cc thread would be: "cashback calculation is based on statement month or calendar month?" if you're reviewing your calculation/formula, count it based on POSTING DATE instead. this is more accurate to determine actual cb amount. e.g. swipe RM100 on 1/10, posted on 2/10, cb RM6 on 16/10 (assuming no other spending). swipe RM100 on 15/10, posted on 16/10, cb RM6 on 16/10. swipe RM100 on 16/10, posted on 16/10, cb RM6 on 16/10. swipe RM100 on 16/10, posted on 17/10, cb RM0 on 16/10. the RM100 is to be calculated in next cycle ending 16/11.
