Hi everyone, usually Public bank will give the bonus cashback for those who have swiped more on last year right, usually this will reflect on this month statement ?

no fixed schedule.

crediting is roughly about ~1 month after each qualifying week.


e.g. Week22 (25-31 Decc 2017) for Get Rewarded campaign, the cb already been credited on 24 Jan 2017.

oh i see, not like last last year, PB rewarded a special cash back to those customers who have swiped since 1 Jan 16 till 31 Dec 16, on January 2017 statement.
now became monthly already ?

what type of cashback/promo are you referring to?

it this specific to certain pbb card? or general cards?

Alternatively you may use Sarawakpay App (SiliconNet EC, also by SAINS). Top-up e-wallet to get online rebate and use the credit in e-wallet to pay Sesco, water board, land&survey or council bills etc.
P/S not eligible for special cashback campaign (eg every 2XRM100) as it is government-related.

Not attractive now. Quantum cards and Visa Signatures give better rebate rate and credit monthly.

i can't remember, last time i saw it in old thread, everyone who swiped it in the previous (2016 or 2015), they get few hundreds ringgit cash back reflected in January statement.
PB rewarded it to those who swiped it more on previous year, something like that..

Yearly CB is on the last statement of the year.... the Dec statement...

I was using PB credit card about 10 years ago, the "cash megabonus" was accumulated every month but the accumulated bonus will be converted to cash/credit once a year only, if you continue to be the cardmember in the following year. I think he is talking about the "cash megabonus".

Well there's no Cash Megabonus with VS and Quantum cards....<<not that I aware of...

applied Quantum over email yesterday for more cards to play around with. And today received a call from them to verify. Quite fast I must say. Am I correct to say that for Quantum, CB will only come in after the following month of approval, like VS?

not "following month of approval" per se.

if your approval is on 25 Jan, statement in the letter is 4 Feb, your first cb is actually on 4 March (first actual statement).

there will be no statement for 4 Feb due to incomplete statement month (25 Jan to 4 Feb). system will only gen the statement on 4 Mar instead, that's where you cb is credited (for transactions posted between 25 Jan to 4 Mar).

I guess i have found it, its called Loyalty & Rewards, in my Dec statement.

You get OTP SMS and provide OTP? Then it is an online transaction.
If manually charged, including you key in your PIN, or you agree to Auto Debit, then it is not considered ONLINE transaction.

that is a summary, not a reward.

Which is the accumulated CB for the entire year....standard and promos...

The max...one can get with the 3 cards combo for 2017... is around 3.8k....
