Great news man... But i played Prince of Persia in PSP very pening n screen too small.. Plus Game tension.. A while cannot tahan liao.. I think both share pretty similar game style. |

You're in service to the Gods: Rather than present the game as Kratos' origins or a bridge between God of War 1 and 2, the developers have latched on to a specific part of Kratos' timeline to tell the story this time out -- specifically, the 10 years in which Kratos wasn't fighting against the Gods so much as fighting for them. "A lot of what we're telling with the later stories is Kratos when he's just really realized he's a puppet of the Gods, really realizing that he's getting screwed over, and [the PSP game will] flesh out when he did have maybe a little bit of faith and when that faith started to crumble a little bit -- when he started to see some cracks in the stories they were telling him," says Chains of Olympus creative director Cory Barlog. |

God of War PSP delayed
It looks like there'll be no Kratos showing off Sony's Slim and Lite PSP this Christmas; the handheld God of War entry, Chains of Olympus has been delayed until early next year, reports Gamespot. The new date for the portable bruiser is apparently pencilled in as March 4, 2008 in the US, with demo discs going out later this month to North American gamers who signed up online. It's bad news for Sony then, which desperately needs triple A titles to help grow the userbase on its slick handheld - and of course push sales of the updated PSP Slim & Lite. anyways jus to let u know. our current psp goes on 222mhz.. the demo we played on also utilized th 222mhz engine. however news is a more improved GOW using 333mhz overclocked psp is the actual game we getting next march..

either new PSP slim was overclock, or F-PSP speed was capped, it should be playable on CFW PSP

Wow ... a 9.4 thats outstanding.
But sadly the storyline is kinda short (only 7 hours .. thats what IGN took to finish the game) but there's ton of bonus to head back into the game again. |

well Sony didn't port over the excellent killzone liberation (which would have benefited from a bigger screen display with all that action) but who knows yeah........
, anything is possible and Sony seems intend on keeping ps2 afloat for a long time to come, what with no-BC support on current ps3. |

Chain of Olympus has been optimized with the limited buttons on PSP since day one, everything is well calibrated with PSP interface. If they port to PS2 now, trouble will arise. Furthermore, GOW3 has been announced to be released in 2009 for PS3.

it's funny how both the 1up and IGN reviewer prefer the new controls for evading (shoulder button + pad) to the original R2 stick, wonder which control setup will GOW3 adopt?

I think the game programmers should have already enabled it to 333MHz (if not, a lot of Phat users will be very very very disappointed). If not, go to your recovery menu via R trigger during startup or Select button via XMB.

Wow this game is cool. I'm playing it now... graphic is very impressive.. up to daxter's standard. Gameplay is like same only compare to previous GoW games

Have been bathing in blood for 2 hours with maximum brightness (the game is gloomy), suddenly the battery light blinking, i quickly save the game, and run into system information, wow, i only have 15% left.
What kind of battery psp is giving, only for people to have fun for 2 hours???? BTW, its a must game for psp owner, graphic good and gameplay same as the ps2 version. But, I do like ps2 better, because the screen is much bigger than psp. (For those who are under 18, please consult your parents on this game, there is still sex scene!!!) |

I think this game will drain battery very fast...
I wanna use directly to plug and take out the battery, but some say if you plug in directly to AC plug, the PSP will not detect battery the next time. Anyone can clarify this? if using directly to power supply then I wont have to scare about the battery... |

I stuck at the east wind, which you pull out the stairs. You will see a horse statue saying something like "east wind", and then you can open the door behind and there is two red box. Then i stuck there... nothing to do.... anyone reach here?

First of all.. you drag the dividing wall by pressing the O hold.. and after you finish dragging the it the whole way.. there is a small passage beside the wall on the left side.. after that I'm sure you can figure out the rest.. |

this game is awesome, loading time is quite fast but the downside is some in-game lagging during scene change.
maybe its my psyscological perception, the graphic quality is better than the demo one, 333mhz do make some difference |

Ready At Dawn had made an announcement that this game is not going to be ported to PS2 same like Daxter for PSP.

how to win the boss level - hydra (after the persian king)

Only spend 6 hours finish this game, short gameplay as everyone would say, the puzzle is not very hard, and the enemy is quite easy to defeat. Might need to try to play hard / very hard mode.
Best game in psp so far ever play. |

The last boss is quite tricky at 1st.. but as u continue more often fighting her, u will feel that she is actually quite easy..
I keep dying too during this boss. But u need to be more patience and just follow the same thing over n over again. Very nice strategy way of fighting boss.. Really love it that u need to think n be patient to fight it. They even give u chance for a check point after the 1st phase and even on the 2nd phase. |

I'm currently at the level which fright with 2 giant enemy with sword. Is really hard to beat them.. once beat them.... move forward and there is another two.... tried several times also cannot pass thru... any tip to beat them??

completed the game without any walkthroughs or any guide at all on normal difficulty. I knew it was going to be short so I had no problems with that. better a short game with all action rather than a long game but lots of backtracking and filler moments. Quality over quantity is way better than quantity over quality.
This game is not suitable for kids though.... got some partial nudity going on in the game and even a sex minigame. For someone who can slay monsters he certainly doesnt last long with two women. i finished in normal mode, now onto god mode. i find it not that challenging killing the normal enemies, but the boss i find it hard to take down

start off with efreet but no O smashing. use L+/\ between medusa's head and the statue. L+[] for the last medusa head on each side. Same combo for big giant statue in the center twice and a L+[]. A single punch will settle the rest.
Completed the hades challenge series last night. Really too bad they cant include the lost levels. I guess they ran out of time for those. |

DO NOTE !!! if u are not quick enough and he gets a full heal, his spell(the green one) will activate and you will INSTANTLY DIE !! if u are not fast enought, immediately quickly go to the side of the ship to avoid damage... he will go to that platform when his health is low and that spell is he is casting will activate once his health is healed to max Source- my website review, lol |

just finished the game this afternoon, i would say WOW for the game, but kinda disappointed with the short gameplay, didn't expect the game finish after beat the queen of underworld.

i dont know cuz i was playing the 80MB version where movies are cut so i didnt get stuck but i did get stuck at a part where u just acquired the item to let u breath under water and after opening a door (by pushing the underground switch).... i entered that door and my psp hang/freeze, all buttons did not responding including HOME and after a while psp auto off
scare me to hell, then i try play again and nothing wrong liao |

costumes go b to normal mode thn only can use.. meaning the costumes unlock for tat lvl u play only.. cant be used on spartan mode.

god mode is seriously hard. The developers weren't kidding when they labeled the mode as "very hard". The mob's AI is seriously trying to make sure you don't get past them, using their abilities in combo with each other. The buggers even flank you when you're weakest. Sick man. I'd really like to see anyone who can finish it in 4 hours on their first try.

id say GOW on the psp is impressive and i read review on the develpment of GOW they had lotsa constraits on making the game as PSP had only 1 bus 2 transmit all data and the processor of the PSP is nt that powerfull but look at the results an eye candby game with such lo hardware specs,id say thumbs up for Ready at Dawn,they really optimised the game for the psp so if any 1 could say its a "STUPIDLY SHORT GAME" id certainly say no its a masterpiece.

its a really good, or perhaps best game i played with PSP. infact i really anticipate this game ever since i got PSP in 2007. the game not failing me at bit even its short.......with those good graphic, story line....and hey, some ADULT material.......this game is fun to play. now trying to break hard mode. just finish my god mode few minutes b4. BTW, if u never play PS2 GOW or GOW2........pls don leave comment.......u better go play Prince of Persia instead...LOL.

I think it is a great game and they did a great job on the game play.

There's some slightly lag on some scene (just for 1-2 seconds) when running on PSP Slim. I think that's for cache the graphic data?

aye..'short and sweet' is the description of this game..
too bad can't fight with atlas mano-o-mano..except through some mini-game..but nevertheless a good psp game..however, if compared with the console version..this game is really short |
