I turn it on for selective apps only.

For example?

Like example for the messaging apps. Like whatsapp, messenger and Skype for obvious reasons.

Another example like Spotify, if you are downloading an album to your phone. Even if your phone on standby, it will download the files in the background until finish provided you did not close the app.

but background apps still jalan using mobile data rite? if not, the apps not working..

I think there'll only be delay in the background apps to refresh it's data/notification/feeds etc. Not fully turned off.

So yeah, some help in saving the battery life but I'll just leave mine ON.

did ios 11.0.3 fixed the issue of wifi and data toggle in Control Center ?

bluetooth and wifi will always auto turn on when airplane mode is turn off.
found the culprit. bluetooth and wifi is on in my settings.
so control center will auto on when it find it is on in the settings

It's really good on my 7+ and Apple brought back the edge 3D touch app switcher.

IMHO, people still not used to the new wifi and bluetooth toggle in the control center. Yes sometimes it can be a nuisance when you wanted to turn off wifi or bluetooth but there's a reason why it behave so. One of it is to make sure seamless integration between all apple product ecosystem i.e. apple watch and macbooks/imacs such as handoff.

Anyone using this special iTunes release please take note that if there's any update to iTunes, yours will not be updated.

It's more targeted to business user where they need to manually manage the apps
