I got a mixed reading on the battery wear level. The Apple Battery Health (Beta) shows 95% of original capacity available, meanwhile the Battery Life app shows 3% wear.

So we should trust Apple and not third party app, right? Hehe...

My ip8+ showed same result 0% wear on Apple app and battery life app

Last night started off at 48% and this morning after 8 hours battery drained 8%. Both wifi n LTE on and batch refresh was off
I noted only at 100% or close to it battery drain was 0 to 1%. At around 70-80 % it was 3-4%. That was for firmware after 11.1.1. I still viewed battery efficiency had dropped after 11.1.1

I am still on 11.1.1, but believe the battery drainage is almost the same as above.

Haha, since the function is still in beta, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Since the wear level is still minimal, I'll wait for year end to see if the wear worsen.

Hopefully the battery lasts longer and don't have to replace it all this year. Better that way 😂. Just change the phone once it's due for upgrade.

Yup, it’s not like your buyer will pay additional if you changed the battery. Probably sell it before year end so the buyer can decide whether or not he/she wants to change the battery.

True2. Better sell off and state the battery condition. Like me, I don't mind selling off for lesser price as long as it's fair to both party. Just hoping this year's version will be worth it and not a half hearted dud like last year's.

Did not charge my phone last night and went to bed at 50% at midnight, WiFi and LTE on. Battery showed 47% when the alarm went off at 7.45am this morning. So, yup, the theory of p drain only at 100% battery level could be true.
