Yeah, I believe this is the case. It'll drop much lesser or not at all when at 100%.

For SE I think it's a toss-up whether to update or not. If you're happy with the performance of your phone thus far maybe no need to update just yet. 10.3.3 was very stable before 11 came about.

I had a 8 Plus but passed it to my wife already. Waiting for my X to be delivered.

so it means more improvement for iphone 8 and iphone X ya?

iPhone 8 and X already shipped with iOS 11, so the updates are mostly security related or bug fixes. The upcoming 11.3 will bring some new features. For older phones, if you’re comfortable with your phone’s performance right now, then no need to update yet. Wait for others to do it then feedback smile.gif

I see. But i feel no good with 10.3.3. Lately got some bug and crash. Thats y thinking to update.

Did you power reset your SE?

My SE is still on IOS 10.3.3 - no issue.
My 6S is on IOS 11.2.5 - no issue.

Maybe it depends on your luck.
Since got issues on IOS 10.3.3, might as well upgrade and give it a try.
*
what do u mean by power reset?

Are all your apps updated? Offending apps do make the phone crazy sometimes....so need to update to its latest revision to suit the current iOS. I'm referring to 3rd party apps installed on your phone.

I think the test of different models can never be 100% fair. If A complains nofair because ipx has amoled, B can also complain nofair because ip8 has lower pixel count.

I have both ipx and ip8 and in my usual daily usage I notice the ipx lasts longer.
*
ya thats true.. SE got small screen compared to ip7.. thats y ip7 go dead first.. flex.gif

I’m guessing this year will mark the death of Touch ID laugh.gif
Did not charge my phone last night and went to bed at 50% at midnight, WiFi and LTE on. Battery showed 47% when the alarm went off at 7.45am this morning. So, yup, the theory of p drain only at 100% battery level could be true.

hey did 11.3 already released?
