comparing ip8/ip8+ with ipx, the only thing i like is the overall phone size. big screen yet smaller phone size.
big phone is no no for me. but the price.....

I plan to get the 8+ after years of owning Androids.

Currently using the Samsung S7E, nothing is wrong with that phone but I need something more stable at the current state of my life.

I wonder if the 64GB is sufficient? I have never owned an iPhone but I do use an iPad. I use Spotify a lot and I love taking pictures.

64gb wouldn't be enough if you taking pictures alot. As new ios might take some of the space already. The better camera will also lead the picture increase in size. You may consider to get a higher storage one if your budget allows. Otherwise, you may take photo and sync to Google Photo, then delete from the device or you back up your photos routinely.

just to comment on the picture size itself, apple is using new format for image, as per claim, the image in iOS11 is basically half the size as the previous one.

I've an iphone 6s 64gb and after 1.5 years of usage(and I gave it to my bro already), the storage i used only around 35gb, and in this 1.5 years i've been travel to few countries, in library got around 3k photos, 1gb of music library, and few videos which sums and close to 30 mins footage @1080p.

IMO, unless you are taking 4k videos and take hundreds of selfies everyday, 64gb should be sufficient for daily.

I concur. Unless you install a lot of games then the 64gb version is too small for you.
Last time I use iPhone 6S+ 64GB for almost a year with a lot of photos + jailbreak stuff + games + more than 100 apps + some videos recorded still have 15GB+ left.

i owned i7 plus 128 gb, and with all the important apps for productivity installed, most picture downloaded from whatsapp, pictures only during vacation and my storage only indicate using 13.2gb including system storage....lol , so for me 64gb is more than enough...

i've been using my 6 plus 16GB for nearly 3 years,

managing the 16GB is such a chore but the iCloud definitely helps. especially with my food photos.. haha

I checked my storage of 128GB 7+, left with 24.3GB, used up 100GB+ mainly on photo apps where I transfer back almost my 1st iPhone 2G photos till now to my phone. It is something very enjoyable to watch old photos on same device, even more with my iPad Pro 12.9" which now comes with 256GB. So for me no choice but 256GB on my next phone. Too bad Apple revise the different of storage to be $150 apart now where in June, Ipad Pro is $100 apart which I was lucky to get it merely Rm500 more than 64GB. It will be nice if all iPhones in 2017 is merely US$100 apart where the different is RM500 instead of RM750 now.

Guys, know what, i day only i used the phone, it seems that my iphone 8 plus has battery problem, i was unable to charge the phone while switch one i.e the percentage of the phone never cannot increase. only if i switch off the phone and charge only the percentage went up.. already restored with latest ios 11.0.1.. still same problem.

going to IPoh service center tomorrow

SG set? Mine HK set still good, but cant update. I think problem occured because i restored it instead of setting as new phone.
