just to comment on the picture size itself, apple is using new format for image, as per claim, the image in iOS11 is basically half the size as the previous one.I've an iphone 6s 64gb and after 1.5 years of usage(and I gave it to my bro already), the storage i used only around 35gb, and in this 1.5 years i've been travel to few countries, in library got around 3k photos, 1gb of music library, and few videos which sums and close to 30 mins footage @1080p.
IMO, unless you are taking 4k videos and take hundreds of selfies everyday, 64gb should be sufficient for daily.
