QUOTE(coolguy99 @ Nov 29 2021, 11:26 PM) Mhmm... Instead of able to stream up to 4 concurrent devices, now it is down to 2 concurrent devices. Also, instead of almost unlimited logins of devices like previously, now it is just maximum 4 registered devices. If a 5th device tries to login into that account, it'll prompt you to remove either one of the device. Not only that. Astro Go now has un-skippable ads upon playing selected content, similar like YouTube nowadays. Astro Go is becoming like a "freemium" service. Astro trying to save costs on CDN streaming servers bandwidth, I guess? Or they don't want people to share the account with other friends and family?

Astro dislike that lol If Astro wanna save bandwidth, may be they should have encode into H265 for HD content, thats nearly half the bandwidth there. But also not to forget, not every device has native support of HEVC H.265 video codec, especially older or low-end devices.

QUOTE(enriquelee @ Dec 7 2021, 07:21 PM) What is the best way to watch AOTG on my old LG LCD TV? P/S: I do have legitimate astro account. Connect HDMI (or VGA cable) from a computer/laptop to your TV. On your computer/laptop, use a web browser (e.g. Google Chrome) to login Astro Go, and then select whatever shows you want to watch, and watch it on your TV screen. That is the least headache, yet completely legal way to watch Astro on your TV, without having the Astro box in your house right now.
