as for me everytime sign -in will get this error , STV activated. Anything additional need to be done?

for AndroidTV or ATV devices, u need:
1. the "AstroTV" app meant for ATV, which is still under testing by astro; this apk has been posted earlier in this thread by someone.
2. u must be registered as a tester, paying rm1 pm... this is now closed.
if u r not registered, it will not work.
perhaps when test complete, astro may be selling subscription for it.

for regular android devices, if yr device is compatible, the current astrogo apk version is 2.201.4/AC20.1.4/8f38551:

this apk is now working very well for compatible devices, no more buffering, audio loss, etc.
there are many boxes that work with this apk.
unfortunately, it will not work on ATV devices - u get serious lag on HD streams.

Yes... Who say no difference hasn’t seen one.. I’ve had 2 different boxes. Same SoC, player app, TV, & same file... but output on TV is different.. Easiest Example that even those with less demanding eyes can see? Is to take the crap box TM used to ship for hypptv and compare it’s pq vs a more better specced box. Difference should be night & day.

However, ultimately... Primary concern where Asterruk playback is concerned should be IF it’ll work, performance smoothness, and theoretically will you be affected by future updates..The latter is due to the many changes Astro has implemented and will be implemented... Box working perfectly today might not tomorrow. And Asterruk has a nasty thing of “deactivating” previous versions and forcing update to latest version, else kenos stream.. I would play the waiting game though. Cuz they are moving into the No dish or specific decoder required realm... So I expect their ATV OS game to improve.

U did not read properly what i wrote.

Yr smart tv, mibox s are using atv os.

Of course that apk will not work.

Long time ago, the old version worked.

Then a newer version worked poorly, laggy for hd.

Now, current version does not work at all.

Tv is just a tv... if u use a generic android box.

That will work... i have 4 diff boxes... they all work.

But i must caution u... not all generic boxes will work... due to root, firmware, etc.

there have been many posts about what device works with what apk.

problem is things change over time, apks change, and some box models are obsolete, some boxes work, then failed to work or semi-work.

hard to keep up... for anyone.

i can say current tx3mini, tx3max and tx3 s905x3 will work with this apk:

tx5max also work but is obsolete; same with himedia Q10pro.

as for the ATV apk, i am quite sure my 2 sharp smart TVs will work too, but since i am not registered (it is closed), never tested properly.

Yeah I know things change.. What to do.. Cat and mouse game.. That's why I was hoping to know those working now..Future? Buyer takes the risk lor.. i can't predict.. Can only inform that AOTG devs update constantly and we don't know future how.. But at least, good to know that in addition to Beelink's, Minix and these Tanix models are working.

Yeah, by the time I was aware of the Beta programme...it was too late to enter. I would have loved to get in on that action.. At least, monitor what direction they are moving to, safeguards, etc..Oh well, guess we'll make do with what we have pending the Stable version or official release.

Or alternatively, a more troublesome but somehow less headache way is:

Open Astro Go on your laptop, connect HDMI cable to TV, and watch it from there.
Connect wireless mouse and keyboard, so that you can relax on your sofa while navigate around the content/channels on Astro Go.

I’m using tx3 s905x3 but it says invalid verification code even after entering correct code. They even sent me a sms after entering the code.

Its happened to me just now with the same device as yours
Happened while my kids watching CN since 5.30pm - 8.30pm and its suddenly logout.

Try to logged in but appear invalid id/passwd

I try to login via phone, no problem. Weird..

try erasing the app, reinstall clean.
