i'm not sure but i'm on 1280x800 on my lappy now & tried running on same resolution on a LCD projector but failed. the sides are cropped & screen not able to project fully. it only chose to run on 800x600.

p/s : guys..planning to install/dual-boot Vista on my lappy. do i need to download latest drivers for Vista from Dell after i've installed it or continue using those originally given? will some be incompatible?  blink.gif

Recommended to get the latest driver.Updating your latest driver such as wifi is worth because you will get a wider range of wireless signal.
You still can use the older driver if you are too lazy to download. tongue.gif

built in mic would be handy and space saving/ less wire clutters
but certain built in mics would need u to speak quite close to it so that other party can hear u clearly..

ext mic however can be clipped on ur ear and such..
so u need not speak so loudly since the position is already near to ur mouth..

so it has pros and cons..
decide wut u need and go for it..

Yes is compatible but not stable especially the ATI driver from Dell. So I recommended you to get the latest driver. I been using dual boot for sometimes.I prefer xp rather than vista due to the blurriest text make my eyes tired. smile.gif

Here the dell driver download link:

I've got a question that I wanna ask you all..... Anyone using a BT mouse with your 6400?
I was pondering whether to buy the Logitech V270 Cordless Optical Bluetooth Mouse but I found a few feedbacks from some Dell users at Amazon that the driver conflicts with their integrated Toshiba BT and won't install.

Any idea anyone? Or any recommendations?

hmm..why don't u get a wireless one? like the V450? the transmitter kinda small. can be stored underneath the mouse when not in used. just my 2 cents. coz hardly see ppl with bluetooth mouse. smile.gif

i would say hassle free!

even the transmitter is small, still hassle to slot into usb port each time we wanna use it. make it look weird. etc etc.

using bluetooth mouse...every thg gonna b easy.

turn on bluetooth using fn key. turn on ur bluetooth mouse. pairing. done. use!

if use normal wireless mouse:

pull out the transmitter underneath the mouse. wait!? forgot to pull it off from desktop. go back to dekstop. wait!? i think i just lost the transmitter. damn!
