QUOTE(sotong168 @ Apr 17 2007, 11:02 AM) http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/default.aspx?c=my&l=en&s=dfo haha. wont call la. i'm still using my C1D currently. make call fast fast, as the refurbished unit is a hot cake, normally they will come in with other accessories like targus bag, cable & etc how come there so many buyers who are not satisfied with their order, then return back their order, and hence, we have refurbished units. |

QUOTE(triangle @ May 3 2007, 11:02 AM) what do you mean by "good" hdd? notebook size hdd, 2.5", is now available in 160gb in the market, cost a bit expensive though. for desktop size, 3.5", you have to get a casing for the hdd. its all up to the individual's preference. |

QUOTE(triangle @ May 3 2007, 05:46 PM) hm....i get it now..so here i only need a sata ext case since i will use my old 2.5hdd as an external.... i would suggest a pata 5400rpm. main purpose is to store data only right? a 2.5" casing is not that expensive. get good ones, for eg the vantec one cost about rm50-ish. my college mate bought a 120gb with vantec, rm300. i'm not sure about cooler master though. anyway, u can check the pdf price lists to get the latest price.thnx bro~~ whaaa.....so much money have to spend again.... |

Well, so far no problem lar. calvin, u download dell drivers for vista from dell's support website ya? so far so good? last time i saw my friend's pc, his ram idle usage is about 600mb. what about yours then? |

current spec is 512mb ram. given a choice, will you get another 512mb to do dual channel OR get 1gb to have 1.5gb.
em, is 1.5gb sufficient for vista? thanks |

fellas, i have a funny situation here.
i'm using bitcomet for my torrenting. my idle usage would be around 500/1000mb ram. after i leave my comp switched on, say 2-3hours, my idle usage left about 200/1000mb. my bitcomet tends to "eat" up my resources. this makes my comp a bit lag when i tried to open up other programs. all i have to do is reset my bitcomet, and its back to normal. i've checked with a friend of mine, he torrents 24/7 and his bitcomet program is running fine, unlike mine (both using the same version). any opinions regarding this? P/s i'm asking here 'cause i'm experiencing this situation with my laptop. |

QUOTE(teikwing @ May 29 2007, 02:55 PM) used to face the same prob like yours last time but after formatted my comp & upgraded bitcomet to the latest version..everything run smoothly. no lag or whatsoever even torrent for 24/7. but u should try change to utorrent. not so troublesome. i cant use utorrent without port forwarding, i dunno why. and i cant port forward, cause i'm sharing the line with other ppl. i guess i'll try with the new version then. but i like the old version more, the interface looks better and easier to handle. |

what if some parts or components crashed? and they dont have new supplies, but they have "re-conditioned" or rather used supplies. will they change old parts for you?
kinda worried, 'cause i'm considered from the old batch, using coreduo. |
