Recently I came back after a 9 day holiday to find that my Car Park in my condo is being used by a random car. I highlighted the issue to the management office and they have clamped the car, however I have few concerns.

1) It has been a few days now and the car has yet to been moved.
2) The car road tax expired 3 years ago
3) There is no Visitor Card nor Condo Sticker attached to the car, hence untraceable
4) Condo Management do not have record of this car registered.
5) The car is locked but hand brick is not engaged.

I'm not sure what's the best action to do in this situation as now I'm unable to use 1 out of 2 of my car parks. Thankfully the management office offered for me to use one of the spare car parks, however would like to get some advise on what action I should do.

Police Report? - Management Office mentioned they would be doing it. However, I'm not sure what impact it would bring.
Tow the Car myself? - and put the car where? and also $$$

Part of me just feels like smashing the car window and pushing the car out of my lot. But part of which also feels wrong as this would trouble the other residence instead.

Any ideas?

well how did the car enter if its not registered at the guard house? probably call some tow truck company and see if they will tow it away but might cost you.

outside of Malaysia when you call tow truck to tow illegal parking its free since they make money from the person that claims their car from the impound

How the hell the car can enter your condo without any visitor card or condo sticker? Are the guard sleeping or condo management collect monthly maintenance but don't do work?

Go give ultimatum to the condo management to clear by certain deadline.

Or, actually what is your issue? You don't like the temporary spare condo carpark they assigned to you? Just go f off the condo management lah......

Deal with 1 party enough, no need pening pening think so many scenario

ask mgmt to clamp the car, since they already cannot determine the true ownership of the car.

usually mgmt will charge a small fee, e.g. RM50 to unclamp th car. let the car owner go pay him/herself.

at least mgmt offered you spare car park for the time being.

The responsibility should fall on your management to call DBKL (or similar) to tow the car away, that's what my management did for some of the abandoned vehicles parked outside my condo. However, lately DBKL has too many such cases too handle so they might delay your request, probably a police report might help to escalate the request.
Get police or JPJ to find out the owner of the car, I believe it could be a rented car, there are many cases of foreigners renting cars and just abandon when they leave the country

Pls read the first post, management already clamped the car, the issue here is that no one has come forward to claim ownership of the car after many days

Agree on this. should request the management to call for towing services to tow the car. or you can call tow truck, then claim from the management if they agree on towing the car.

Else, request another spare car park for you to use for the meantime.

I'm suffering from the same situation recently. Talked to the condo management. They told me to tow the car at my own cost like wtf.

The management body didn't do a good job preventing stranger trespassing my property and parking in my carpark spot and now it's my responsibility to clean up the mess.

I'm not even sure if I'm authorized to tow the car which is technically not my property. If the guy come and sue me afterwards how.

Just want to know how did you resolve the issue? Did it end up well?

Get someone or diy spray your car no. plate on your parking spot. If that fail to work, install a barrier that can only be removed by u. Will be a hassle to park but hey at least your parking spot will be available at all time lol.

After about 2-3 weeks, Management Office towed the car out after making a police report and notice placed on the car. I have no idea where the car was moved to but my recommendation is to get MO to make the police report ASAP and for them to hire someone to tow the car out ASAP. The costing of towing was bared by MO as they could not trace the owner.
