Are you trying to spam here? Bye bye Dallas. Thanks for the season outbreak you guys did. Even though it didnt flow through the playoffs, but then i guess a lost is a lost so they will just have to reflect on it and do better next time. Nellie proves to be too strong for Avery afterall Raptors vs Nets, Jose Calderon is injured and he said that he would be playing today's game ... actually it doesnt matter whether he is playing or not, some other player will just need to step up and take charge and not just leave it to Bosh and TJ Ford. The 1st game was a good experience for them and they have learned from it. If Parker and Bragnani can play like casually, i think they might just be able to bring the game to a tie breaker at 7. Well, i do hope that the Raptors will put a good fight, i just loves those Game 7! This post has been edited by -= Virgil =-: May 5 2007, 07:39 AM |

waiting for NJ vs Raptors. i'm going for a NJ win. dont think raptors have much creativity afterall and even when Raptors are hot, they never really kill Jersey off.

Yaloh...
Nets will win i think onli... Added on May 5, 2007, 10:22 amCalderon in Raptors starting lineup, Ford available to play A sore Jose Calderon started at point guard for the Toronto Raptors and regular starter T.J. Ford was available to play in Game 6 of their playoff series with the New Jersey Nets on Friday. The status of both players was in question the past three days after Calderon sprained his right ankle and Ford sustained neck, shoulder and arm injuries in the Raptors' win in Game 5 on Tuesday that cut the Nets series lead to 3-2. Neither practiced on Wednesday or Thursday, but Raptors coach Sam Mitchell said Calderon, who scored 25 points in Game 5, showed him enough in Friday morning's shootout at the Continental Airlines Arena to get the start. As Mitchell spoke about an hour before the tip-off of the first-round Eastern Conference series, Calderon was doing agility drills on the court, working side-to-side, running forward, backpedaling and then changing direction. "I don't have to see him, he told me he can play," Mitchell said. "I saw him at shootaround this morning. He did everything we asked him to do this morning and it's playoffs." Mitchell started Calderon because Ford had done nothing the past two days. Calderon had done some shooting. Ford warmed up before Calderon and told Mitchell he could go, which surprised the coach. "Yeah, 'cause he was in a lot of pain the day before, he was in a lot of pain yesterday but he said it feels a whole lot better," Mitchell said. Ford was hurt in a collision with Vince Carter. He said Friday that a sprained thumb on his non-shooting left hand was the only thing bothering him. "It's a lot better day-to-day," he said at the shootaround. "I couldn't move it a couple of days ago and now I have a lot of movement and flexibility in it. I think it's a good possibility I can play." Ford averaged 15.4 points in the first five games, while Calderon averaged 12.8. 4 more on tis article click here This post has been edited by wayne_chen: May 5 2007, 10:22 AM |

yay.. Nets goin in semifinals ..
3 headed monsters rulez.. Evans: Garnett 'Wants Out Of That Situation' Lakers forward Maurice Evans calls Kevin Garnett "one of my best friends in the league." Evans said that Garnett's time in Minnesota might be coming to an end. "I know he definitely wants out of that situation, deservedly so," Evans said Thursday. "He's given his heart and soul to that (Minnesota) organization," Evans added. "And whether it be here or Minnesota or wherever, I hope for and wish him the best in his future." Evans spent his rookie year with Garnett in Minnesota and said: "I would love to play with Kevin. He's obviously a great player and very unselfish and passes. He's so unselfish almost to a fault, so I would love to benefit from some of his overly unselfish passes. But who knows?" This post has been edited by EroS: May 5 2007, 03:24 PM |
