Garnett Speaks To Wolves About New Contract

According to Sid Hartman, longtime columnist in the Twin Cities area reports there are rumors that Kevin Garnett recently talked to owner Glen Taylor about a contract extension.

Garnett is signed through next season, then becomes a free agent

hmm.. looks like Garnett is staying wit T-Wolfs..

oh?...yea, Garnett is the face of T-wolves, and i doubt that there is anyone to make up to the franchise's name...eg. when Iverson left Philly, there's Iguodala to make up for them...though back then Raptors also did the same thing, VC opted to change teams....but now they have Bosh, Anthony Parker, Bargani in there....so hopefully T-wolves get better this year...

Well they can try trading him for a pick in the future lottery?
He's not going to win any championship with the twolves, best shot he had was in 2004.

Why in the world did he continue to stay in Minnesota. I remember he was so frustrated with the team's "couldnt-care-less" behaviour. He even criticise his own teammates for continuing to make jokes and laugh the way out after a match they lost.

Poor Garnett, his passion will do him no good this time.

Those results were pretty much expected lol.

Finals I'd vote for Spurs vs Pistons, though there might be a surprise in the west with the top 3 teams there.

Bulls maybe but then Lakers?! I am much a Lakers fan but then they arent strong enough to topple the Suns.

Its really sad to see the Raptors fall but then i know the fall wont be for long. The next game most likely the Raptors will bounce back. Bosh and Ford both scored more than 20 points, but yet they couldnt contain Kidd and Jefferson...

Added on April 22, 2007, 4:11 pmTaylor Open To Trading Garnett

Bloomberg News reported Friday that Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor is open to trading Kevin Garnett, a statement that probably creates more smoke than fire.

But the quotes from Taylor don't reveal anything the owner hasn't said in the past.

Taylor told Bloomberg: "I certainly don't think you never say never. I wouldn't close the door to it."

That's consistent with Taylor's stance in the past.

During the preseason, Taylor told the Pioneer Press regarding the idea of rebuilding the team without Garnett: "I wouldn't want to say to you it wouldn't happen. ... I'm saying I don't see that because I want to win. But if you say to me, is there a circumstance? Yeah, if we just decide to go all young. ... I'm not interested in doing that (going young), but that's still something you have to think about if things don't work out."

See who won the lottery?
Try offering Garnett for this year's No.1 draft pick.

We all here hope Lakers to win lol, and we all also know they won't haha. Heard that Farmar will be starting instead of Parker, let's hope they can come out with a plan to stop Nash.

Added on April 22, 2007, 4:19 pmThat Chinese player, Yi Jianlian (correct name?) is most likely to be the next top pick rite ? Offer Garnett to get him ? That's abit no point, coz both play the same position

Dallas FTW! Miami is most likely the biggest upset today. Playing lousy defense, taking tough shots, drawing unnecessary fouls... all this wraps up the loss of the Heats. This is the playoffs, everyone will be playing extra hard and picking up fouls cannot be avoided but then the Heats just overheated...

Do you guys think the NBA Champion will be able to retain their crown this season?

Something like Yao, but 2.1+ metres in height. Dubbed as China's Kevin Garnett... LOL !! Some NBA teams sent their scout to check on him when he played in the China Basketball Association Finals and led his team, Guangdong to the title
