Good Day Axiansss...

Just sharing an info... my Axia is already 4years and the aircon was giving me problems on and off... Come New Year, I replaced my air-con compressor for RM850(new sanden unit) after noticing micro leak to its body. I can see the tiny bubbles leaking... (Quote with free dryer)  flex.gif

Little that I know that I have another problem going on since after 10mins running on full gas and new compressor, my aircon still not cold... I can hear clearly a hissing sound from my dashboard. Upon checking, the foreman summarize that my cooling coil is also punctured. puke.gif

So after dismantling the whole dashboard and testing, the cooling coil is indeed punctured as I can see burst of bubbles. Another RM550 gone! (Quote discounted plus a new Denso valve attached to the cooling coil)  icon_question.gif

Total RM1.4K for a cool and cold running aircon under the hot sun. What a Happy New Year indeed!!! Hahahaha  mega_shok.gif

Just sharing for others and warning as get your compressor change within warranty period whenever you can hear a slightest weird sound....  bruce.gif

Want to ask your opinion but please dont flame me ya...
Im using Axia E spec manual gear.

I changed my oil to Shell Helix Ultra 5w40 full synthetic. Bought it at Giant for Rm 98 for 4 Litre. (it was having promo that time)
Yes I was tempted at the price because as you know if buy ori P2 Full Synthetic 3L 0w-20 is around Rm 127.20.
Difference by Rm 29.

Now here is the issue - My FC dropped as expected from a thicker oil.
From 17KM/L using 0W20 to around 14-15Km/L. Worst i got is 13KM/L once. (Hopefully the last time)
Fuel cost of course increase from RM 0.12 to RM 0.15 per km. But usually I calculate KM per L.

Should I continue using the Shell oil? Yes I am fully aware this is a thick 5w40 oil.
Petrol brand I always use Petronas .
But engine performance seem to be same responsive as before.

Mileage since last change only 1K plus.
Need your opinion. Only thing hurting is the slight FC increase.

buy the ore oil and go change back lor

coz the oil pump will also need to work harder when its so thick

Hi any advice on axia tires 175 65 14

Anything but XM2. Very pricy in JB, RM250 a piece, I don't think it's worth that much. Can buy 15inch tire with that money.

But something better than the original Silverstone.

Thanks in advance.

My budget RM180 below.

Conti CC6 bro, got mine for 150, very worth it

Is yours Auto or Manual?
Mine is 2017 manual, also on Helix Ultra 5w40 . done 61k.
Fc wise now 14-15 km/l  due to thicker oil.

Thats why i might revert back to 0w20 but i dont use Perodua's 0w20 . I still have balance 1L plus of Helix Ultra.
Seem Shell did a great job in cleaning the engine cause now at 6 months and alnost 7k mileage but the oil is quite dark. Seems to be p2 oil is less cleaner than Shell but at a better FC.

Bro any reason why don wan to use 0w20 by Perodua? not good??

Thanks for advice.
