QUOTE(mpyw @ Jun 16 2009, 08:08 AM) www.axiomaudio.com Added on June 16, 2009, 8:10 amThe clarity of the sound are superb the center speakers really top notch, never had the dialog so clear and the sitting location also more flexible with this center and playing stereo/pure direct..... can put B&W 6 series to shame with their asking price Looks good! Yeah that center very impressive with 5 drivers. Now your sound experience is elevated to another level. So I suppose your Alpha T1 will be [WTS] soon...

QUOTE(maxizanc @ Jun 16 2009, 08:42 AM) free shipping to Malaysia? Do check out their website. You can select the country in the drop down box and prices will be changed to reflect total cost (including shipping).

QUOTE(maxizanc @ Jun 16 2009, 08:55 AM) i did. I already check and tried by adding an item into basket and checkeout. Selected the country: Malaysia. Tested it with fake name and address. Even after clicking calculate this order button. it said free shipping. can someone clarify this? You don't need to add item or checkout. In the product page itself the price shown there includes the shipping already. That's why later on it says 'free shipping' (the shipping cost built into the product cost).

QUOTE(maxizanc @ Jun 16 2009, 09:03 AM) Yeah you're right. Sigh. But i tested M50, US price is $874. Malaysia is $780. Not a bad price including shipping to Malaysia? That's why mpyw bought it from there i think. I think you terbalik the price. Malaysia is USD874 and US is USD780. How can Malaysia be cheaper than US? Anyway, Axiom's shipping is quite reasonable. Like in the case of the M60, the differential is only USD94. This post has been edited by jchong: Jun 16 2009, 10:10 AM

QUOTE(mpyw @ Jun 16 2009, 11:51 AM) for RM4k....can get PSB T55 or T65? Both are well under 4k. The PSB T55 is only around 2.6k. I think T65 about 3k+. Added on June 16, 2009, 12:17 pmQUOTE(mpyw @ Jun 16 2009, 11:51 AM) My whole 3.0 Axiom set cost me less than RM7k (incl tax), which for the same range from other make i.e. DALI, PSB, B&W, Paradism or even Wharfedale, are much more expensive..... Yeah, the M60 is in a different class. I think it is a true 3-way speaker since it has a dedicated mid range driver. What would be the comparable speakers in the same class from the mainstream brands? This post has been edited by jchong: Jun 16 2009, 12:17 PM

QUOTE(lightning69 @ Jun 16 2009, 11:18 AM) Axiom M60V2 cost RM3900 excluding tax(btw how much tax dd you pay) and that is not cheap. For RM3900 i think there is lots of good floor stander you can buy. Correct me if I'm wrong. Once added tax the M60 is closer to RM4950.

QUOTE(lightning69 @ Jun 16 2009, 02:42 PM) How is the tax paid? Is this thing deliver to your door or you have to collect from custom? Btw, is the tax in Malaysia 15% for hifi equipments? One more thing, where do the Axiom speakers really stand as compare to other brands in the speaker world. Are they consider high end? Axiom ships door to door. I think it has been mentioned before that in door to door shipping the courier company will pay on your behalf first and then you reimburse them when they come to your house.

When it comes to speakers there are many expensive brands out there, where their stuff costs an arm and a leg. One of the most obscenely priced is Magico. Their 'entry level' is the V2 which costs USD18k!!! Their bookshelf Mini II speaker is USD29.6k. If that's not crazy enough, check out their top of the line Ultimate II at USD329k.

QUOTE(robinlim @ Jun 22 2009, 11:50 AM) Rm2.9k for PB12-NSD, that's bloody cheapĀ btw, did u get ur full claim for GST? Yes, a good price because ketam didn't get their claws on it. Otherwise, fork out extra RM700-800 for taxes If you import D2A from SVS direct the price before tax also about 2.9k. This post has been edited by jchong: Jun 22 2009, 12:02 PM

QUOTE(s6xs9x @ Jun 22 2009, 05:26 PM) Do you know how big is that SUB! and I wouldn't want to put it at the lower compartment. Sayang~~ If you were taking the bus there is no choice except the lower compartment. However, for such a purchase I don't think anyone would be taking the bus. Better to drive to SG to pick it up.
