thanks. that was a loooooong story of modification. need extra patient to collect all of those used parts

anyway, u trying to upgrade ur crank and casette?

*
Planning to change my crank and chainring first.
For my cassette a bit bigger project. Mine is a 7 speed freewheel. Wanna change to more speed will need to change wheelset to free hub for 8/9/10/11 speed.

Change the crank and upsize a bit the chainring first and see how it goes. Hehehe biggrin.gif

9 speed need to change chain and shifter, definetly. but as for rd if u know how to tune, its good to go. otherwise change the rd also not so expensive lor laugh.gif

hahaha. will keep that in mind for my next upgrade project.

if i change my tires from 20x1.75 to 20x1.50 (406) do i need to change the inner tube? can i use back the same tube? i plan to change to marathon racer tongue.gif

I just change my cheapo stock China tires 20x1.75 to schwalbe marathon racer 20x1.50

During installation when I remove the old tires I find that the inner tube stated 20x1.75 - 2.15

Can I use back the same innner tube for my marathon racer tires which is 20x1.50? Currently I just use it back and it seems to be ok. Will I encounter any damage? Looking for further advise

Yes you can, just make sure when reinserting the tube there are no folded/overlapping part and good to go. I am also using 1.75 tube in a 1.5 tyre

QUOTE(azamunekurone @ Sep 11 2020, 08:19 AM)

aiyookk? no need to grind if ur using schwalbe kojak tyre. the max ngam² tyre height is 32mm, that is kojak for 349.

i've tested innova tyre 349, claim it to be 32mm height, but i think it might be higher as i cant pump more than 80psi. that tyre recomended to pump 100-120psi, but higher than 80psi the tyre became bigger and will stuck at my friend gust frame
*
Tires need to pump so high? I only pump my marathon racer 25psi. Is it too low? sweat.gif
I press with my fingers macam very full already. I scared the tube and tire explode biggrin.gif
