it's been one week already, still no marketplace for me. anyone else? don't tell me i'm the only one missing the marketplace?

I can view but can't download from US marketplace Especially those content that are only available to them.

Im having the same problem. also one week already

I read through many many forums because i was downright pissed and some suspect that its the router/modem that is incompatible with the new update. Doesn't make sense but it doesn't make sense why i cant enter the marketplace in the first place.

I figure you're about the same as me.
You can still play games on xlive right?

sounds like isp error, keep resetting the modem to try out diff ip. anyway, like sum1 mentioned some US contents are now off-limits. the blacksite teaser demo is apparently not "licensed" to be dloaded by fake US tags.


wah!! pmsoo also kena, so at least 2 gamertags is affected. i wonder if they really start to restrict those region stuff from m'sian IPs.

im using US account and i can go in marketplace...also i can download anything..from demos..videos..movies and music videos...

yup, same prob. i got the "Marketplace unavailable, please try again later" screen for 1 week already, even on my other region account. XB Live n other stuff working fine. i'm connected through a router, didn't suspect it coz NAT is open and it worked properly previously, i tot it was the content ban. time to DMZ that 360, i'll let u guys know the outcome...

I've noticed this since the update - when I'm in the middle of a game and I then go check my Friends list to see their status etc, the blade takes a looong time to go back to the previous screen when I press B. Sometimes so long that it would appear as if it had hung, but in fact it hasn't and goes back to the previous screen after a good 15-20 secs.

Anyone else experience this?

Dude.. that's what we call GUIDE HANG, cause it's like the blade is trying to post/get some info off the net but the net speed is too crappy and thus it hangs there, sometimes if you leave it it'll be ok.

But.. has been happening much lesser now compared to when the 360 launched.

ok thanks guys. guess i'm not alone then .... good to know.

but that means that my isp's been sucky lately then .... never noticed the GUIDE HANG before the update. hmm ....

people living outside of malaysia never encounter such problem before, so it is like new experience to them. even player from SG that i ask before never encounter GUIDE HANG. maybe coz we still using the smallest number for MBps while they were using double digit number for MBps.

but terranova is in HK 1 leh and he experienced it now

because he's from malaysia. hahaha
