Yeah hopefully. But i dont think a web browser would be on this dashboard update. Maybe soon, but not this one, iam preety sure.

Heard that the spring update is going to ban Malaysian IP... again, this is a rumor heard from someone's friend who works in Microsoft blah blah blah, anyone heard of this as well??

Hope this is not true. Perhaps those who are expert in IP banning could shed us some light.

As long as this update is available for download and burning on CD, I'm fine. That's how I got the Fall update. Don't trust screamyx for updates!

Rumor: Dash update coming tomorrow
So the update is supposed to come May 8, at 3am PST? That's roughly May 8, 6pm in Malaysia.

I just heard from the Dashboard team that we'll have to wait at least another day for the Dashboard update to be released. The update is not being released in the next 24-hours. That is all I know at this time, but I'll get more information tomorrow afternoon (PT) and I will update this post as needed. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Thats good news if its coming today. We cant wait no longer.

Probably, the main reason why they're not releasing the update on time is because of the Xtreme crew has released a new version for the samsung drives. So, they're acting on it.

The console will prompt you to download the update once u tried to play an MP4 video. 

Wouldn't work, each container has it's own way of storing data and the 360 doesn't understand how to decode those containers.

Unfortunately the Spring Update also locks out the ability to download content from foreign Marketplaces, which we reported on earlier. We initially discussed what this meant for countries with heavy censorship-laws such as Germany, however we've found out that some countries are being locked out from downloading content completely. Countries such as Greece and Brazil, who currently don't have a local Xbox Live Marketplace, are being completely locked out from downloading anything. Apparently they can still participate in online gaming but that's where the fun stops. We hope this encourages Microsoft to launch a Marketplace in those areas soon.

Dude.. that's what we call GUIDE HANG, cause it's like the blade is trying to post/get some info off the net but the net speed is too crappy and thus it hangs there, sometimes if you leave it it'll be ok.
