As for Drinkwater or Barkley. I prefer Drinkwater. Barkley has been inconsistent for the past 1 or 2 season dy if i recall correctly. His best season was when he was all out AMF imo.

Would not say it's a total failure or a total success for our transfer window.

Out with Begovic, JT, Zouma (loan), Ake, Chalobah, Solanke, RLC (loan), Boga, Aina, Kalas (all loan), Costa? (oh please, i just want him out as soon as possible).

In with Caballero (on a free!), Rudiger (to replace JT), Christensen returns (to replace Ake), Bakayoko (to replace Matic), Morata (to replace Costa, at this point i just dont consider him as a Chelsea player anymore), Zappacosta.

Some would say we offload players more than we bought. But then come on la guys. Are JT, Chalobah, Solanke, Boga these players regular starters for us? They are not. If we are to match the players leaving, we'll need to sign a lot. Not to say that our signing are all top notch quality. But at least our signing replaces some of the key players that left us. And also they are certainly upgrade version of him. Rudiger is much more quicker than JT. Christensen's performance is very good.

Squad looks good compared to last season. What's gone is gone. Matic left for Utd. Lukaku ditched us. So did Llorente. But looking at our squad, and provided that EVERYONE is fit, we have a very good squad. Our injuries and suspensions are making us look bad, that's it. If everyone stays fit, we are a strong team. 

But again, very last minute signings like last season. Someone in the board gonna get axed. We should be getting them players in faster. Let's hope for a certain Bellotti to join last last last seconds in the window. 

I look at their squad list and compare it top 6 club.
I think arsenal really should get a few more world class player.

I don't quite understand why this policy is in place. Is the club afraid that players above 30 years old are more injury prone? So don't dare give long contract, coz need to bear the cost?

Or they see 30 years old and above = declining. So stingy sikit?
