No you misunderstood my statement.
Subang airport just park by roadside before the road turning left into the airport pickup/dropoff lane. Just find a slot to park your car if you are lucky.

Depend on the flight schedule. Each landing there will be more than 10-20 pax requesting at the same time. Majority using Grab. Because I'm a passenger before. Straight kena high fare.

Instead I choose Uber. Hahaha. Cheaper by half price. Seriously. RM30 plus while Grab showing RM60 plus.

Saya ditumbuk berulang-kali, lebih 10 kali oleh pemandu teksi di Aeon Bukit Tinggi, Klang

Rider request pickup point di Aeon Bukit Tinggi, seperti biasa saya terus ke Starbuck Aeon tersebut sambil buat panggilan telefon ke rider, rupanya dia tunggu di bus stop Aeon, bersebelahan Taxi Stand Aeon. Saya terangkan kepada rider untuk menunggu saya di bawah jejantas, betul-betul depan exit Aeon, tapi jejantas itu juga berdekatan dengan Taxi Stand Aeon, semuanya berhampiran. Ketika saya selesai punch ticket untuk exit Aeon, saya sudah nampak rider tersebut. Lambat pula dia bergerak. Jadi saya tunggu bawah jejantas. Datang pemandu teksi berbaju putih, dialek Sabah, menumbuk cermin kereta berkali-kali minta saya pergi, kemudian menendang bahagian sisi kereta dengan kuat 2-3 kali. Saya parking ke hadapan sedikit untuk lancarkan laluan trafic, kemudian keluar kereta sambil ON fon, hajat hati mahu ambil video/gambar driver teksi tidak bertamadun itu. Baru beberapa saat merakam, dia terus meluru dan menumbuk saya bertubi-tubi di kepala, saya tidak melawan sebab tangan ada fon dan tak mahu keruhkan keadaan sebab di situ ramai kawan-kawannya. Cermin mata saya pecah, hilang dua-dua cerminnya, muka saya ada sedikit luka, telinga rasa berdengung, mujur tumbukan yang bertubi itu tidak sekuat mana, tapi saya cukup geram sebab beliau bersikap sangat aggresif dan tidak menunjukkan nilai yang seharusnya. Saya pemandu Grab yang sah mengikut lunas undang-undang Malaysia, dia pun Pemandu Teksi, dia boleh sahaja daftar masuk bawah Grab sebagai Grab Taxi atai Just Grab, melalui Uber pun boleh, jadi adil, sama-sama cari rezeki. Malahan dia mempunyai saluran untuk jana pendapatan dengan lebih luas. Mengapa perlu bertindak ganas.

Cermin mata saya kutip di tanah, kemudian saya beredar dan beritahu dia dan rakan-rakannya yang laporan polis akan dibuat. Selesai hantar rider berbangsa Sri Lanka tadi ke destinasi, saya terus menuju ke Balai Polis Bukit Tinggi, Klang, Koperal Rahim mengambil laporan, kemudian saya diminta ke IPD Klang Selatan untuk berjumpa Inspektor Suresh. Surat untuk buat pemerikaaan perubatan ada saya pegang, namun klinik swasta dikawasan ini semuanya tutup, mungkin sebab hari ini Sabtu 9 Sepetember, Hai Keputeraan Agong. Takkan mahu ke HTAR Klang pula, terkenal itu dengan kesesakan dan lama tempoh menunggu.

Sewaktu saya dihujani tumbukan, saya lihat ada dua orang remaja Cina merakam kejadian tersebut. Video yang saya ada singkat sangat, tak dapat tunjuk scene sebenar. Tak sempat nak minta rakaman tersebut, bergegas siapkan tugasan menghantar rider yang menanti.

Rider Sri Lanka itu beri tambang lebih daripada sepatutnya, dua-dua mahu beri duit lebih, saya terpaksa ambil daripada salah seorang. Mereka luahkan rasa kekesalan kerana menunggu di bus stop itu. Saya nasihatkan mereka untuk pilih Starbuck Aeon sebagai pickup location, jelas sangat jauh daripada taxi, lebih selamat. Saya minta maaf kepada mereka kerana apa yang telah terjadi jelas bukan sikap rakyat Malaysia secara keseluruhan.

Pemandu teksi sekalian, sikap segelintir daripada anda hanya mengeruhkan keadaan. Masyarakat semakin takut dengan teksi. Puas hati? Teruskan dengan sikap ganas anda, mana tahu boleh jadi jutawan.

Saya harap pihak PDRM dapat memberi amaran yang jelas dan tegas kepada para pemandu teksi. Ini bukan kes pertama dan saya yakin bukan yang terakhir. Ramai sudah rakan Grab Driver yang menjadi mangsa. Ramai juga penumpang Grab /Rider yang dihalau keluar daripada kereta Grab oleh pemandu teksi. Malaysia negara bertamadun. Sikap ganas Pemandu Teksi wajib dibanteras.

Erm what happen to the rival / competitor thread?
Sudah kena closed because x tahan kena bash? Relax la, here also we bash Grab ma.

What is the point of painting a rosy image but reality is otherwise? if not everyone would have taken up Uber/Grab as a part time job if the earning is so good as per before.

That upfront fare is killer, but i saw some veteran driver able to break the upfront fare by longer route or long time if not mistaken.

Longer route longer time will not break the upfront fare. And you will also end up kena complain from the passenger for using bad routing.

Well season passenger will always screenshot the screen when ordering. Write in and complain if you were charged differently not as per the upfront fare.

Season passenger of Uber will use credit card. So the amount will disburse back to the passenger. What happen at the drivers end, we do not know. Can be Uber paying or Uber deduct back from the drivers.

There is a pretext by Grab. "I'll be there in 2 minutes". I will always send that message even though I'm still far away. And see for their respond. Some will reply I'm waiting here already. Some will ask to wait. But at least to alert them that we are just nearby not far away.
