Then get 3jobs cancelled, of 2 of it is reached the pick up location, send msg no reply, then i call.. Is a guy answering.. He said he didnt order car, ok fine then I cancel and wanted to leave, once I cancelled within the next 3secs another request in from same house same address.. Wtf.. This the address

That name sounds like a fake name that mapren likes to give. What was the accent of the guy picking up like?
Incidentally that area (kepong, desa aman puri, jinjang, selayang) always got problem/low quality riders. Once, there was  a woman shouted and scolded me on the phone when I couldnt find her (she gave wrong pickup point btw). Another time I drove all the way to middle of nowhere hutan area(FRIM) and when I called up the guy, he said "wait first"...then cancelled.  I've heard Puchong area is similar complaint. Guess the further outskirt from city center the more chance to have f'd up experience, hence I always on guard when going these areas.

Ok let me give an example on how incentive count, newbie should read this.

6PM MP Slot for Friday (Example)

6.01pm Online
6.02pm RM4 job
6.15pm RM6 job
6.35pm RM8 job
6.55pm RM3 job (Drop off at 7.05pm)

Total fare = RM21
Incentive guarantee for 4 job in MP slot = RM57

Gross Incentive reimbursement = (57 x 59/60) - 21 = RM35.05
Net Incentive reimbursement = RM35.05 x 80% = RM28.04

Total Gross earning for 6pm slot = RM56.05
Total Net earning for 6pm slot = RM44.84
Grab has been busy catching people driving for Uber

But i surrender username and password to them, i do have Uber passenger apps and it doesn't affect Ambassador status.

I am part timer..  Driving 4-5 hours a day. Target min net rm50 daily. Honestly before i start grab with sal hardly reaching 3k..  I always pinjam wang for makan.. Always short of makan budget eat bread for lunch.. But since i drive grab..  I cover my petrol makan and parking fee with income from grab. I eat good food everyday. I buy everything my son ask for never have to tell him no money..incentive is sufficient to cover the grab commision. So never have to top up on own. If i drive daily i have net rm1500 even more sometimes in a month. So what is failure in all this?  Its a win win situation.

Same, always pinjam until people saw me also scared but since started grabbing, no more!  But yes, threw a lot of money to my old Myvi including aircon 1.8k, mounting 600++, leather seat cover 450 etc but at the same time enjoy foods and trips when it was totally impossible with old job!  If all these come last time, I think I died already... Although sometimes I disagree or dissatisfied with what Grab had done in the past few months but I need to admit that Grab did give me a fruitful lifestyle before the incentives cut in May.

If aircond 1.8k confirm is compressor spoil, the last time i service also cost me RM550 for the replacement of fan and other thing.

Mounting and absorber front back change another 600-700, but 7 years car ok lah, since Grab able to cover my petrol, toll and parking. Additional for savings too.

Sometimes when customer willing to talk, I will ask them are they regular for book car use app, most of them also yes, somemore they will prefer Grab more than Uber as what they said is Uber is more expensive than Grab. Somemore with promotion code, they able get free ride. This is our advantage, for the moment 🔐🎢

The non students are actually working here. For them to get to work here it must be skilled. The few that I talk to are accounting, engineers and computer science. I talked a lot to maprens and most of them are just making a living here. A few with families worked in the oil and gas sector and ya they are telling me it is a bit tough now but they love Malaysia and they want to stay here. I also pick a pair of Iranian that comes here looking for a job.

I think everyone wants a safe environment and a future which they know they may not get it in their home country. Even Koreans are part of the gang, some working, some studying and they are not children of expats. They are here just to study. So sometimes I am pretty amazed what all the foreigners see here that our locals are complaining about.

Still the most amazing I met is a Bangladesh college student. Speaks fluent english and crazy about Dota and Counterstrike lol.

After finished reading and following all prev posts, today i decided to say hi to my dear comrades🖐️

Joined grab a month ago and with help from sifus here, managed to survive so far.

P/s: grab is so much better in paying back promo nowadays. No more waiting for few days😄
