hmm, Jalan Telawi area? Is this in the morning rush hour? I always get well behaved commuters in the evening rush hour so far....

This week top up already cash out (in my maybank) instead of usual Friday, so fast, must be rushing before Saturday public holiday..

last two weeks sea games customers, a lot foreign, of course demand is higher and they willing to pay more. now that they are gone, back to usual customers.

OF course not, like Uber surge, it depends on balance of drivers vs riders demand. Why on earth would you think they would reserve a 30/60 block of minutes to fix the price? Does the number of passengers request change only every 30 mins? Solution...if you dont want to pay higher fare...wait.

PS: And dont abuse Grabshare by using it and then calling up the driver/texting driver to hurry up (even though there is a matched passenger on board). I kena this type of customer today. And to top it off, he was short of 50 cents for the fare LOL.

Also Malaysian Grab riders seem very entitled, they are quoted a FIXED price regardless of how long the job takes. If suddenly theres a traffic jam on the way, normal teksi meter and Uber charges waiting time/minute. Yet they complain when theres dynamic demand based pricing ..... High time grab start to charge waiting time and cancellation fees here like they do in Singapore. sh1t** riders....

bad enough if they are normal Grabcar riders during peak hour behaving like this (not all, some are very understanding when you call them explaining the traffic), but HURRYING A DRIVER FOR GRABSHARE??? THAT IS MATCHED????

i got another female rider, reached there at 515pm, asked me if can wait 5 minutes or not....OK la eventhough annoyed already since this was in the middle of nowhere office park. Then when reached her place, asked "can you stop 2 mins in 7E, need to take cash to pay you! LMAO! and then most will at least embarass and give a tip, she gave $10 for a $9 fare and wanted the $1 change.

this x1000. there is no shortcut to experience. very clear goodboy92 questions all are trying to shortcut the process but it will not work, also need some judgement and streetwise sense to take the best jobs and most optimal routes, this cannot be taught.

I guess the Grab in app passenger/trip issue reporting feature is here finally. Even lets you select which job to report via the drop down menu.

as usual KL center area non stop ping, from 4pm onwards. you want a lot of ping, come to KL city center on weekends, at least traffic can move. I even get 5 trips in hour.

beware the grab share pings though when ever there is surge. also when it's raining sure got lots of demand.

the other place to avoid is bandar Sri Damansara and Damansara damai area during peak hour, confirm jam worse then KL and mapren heaven.

Got GS bitchy rider story to share:
Today Ampang rd area got matched rides, an indo couple an a India Indian female. The indo couple fetch first, sat at the back, informed got matched ride, they no problem. Called Indian lady, told her was two mins away and asked for condo block number (I should have told her to come down fast at this point because got matched riders but oh well....)

Reached there, called and informed her by chat, she slow slow and asked for more time. About to cancel after reached 3 mins limit, see her come out of lift slow slow. She sees my car and the passengers at back, checks her phone as if she's not sure if this is correct ride. Tries to get in the right side back door, sees passenger and then I tell her to sit in front. She moves to the left side....and opens the back door but is shocked again to see the indo man on that side. No choice has to sit in front....knn who do this people think they are, pay taxi think must sit at the back one ahh? (and not Im not smelly or have BO issues).

Reached her destination, told her she needs to pay RM1 as part of her split toll fare...she fishes around her wallet full of cash to give me a...torn RM1 note. cb bitch...
Im guessing this is her very first time got matched GS ride. I die die wont take another GS ride in KL area anymore.

As expected found my rating drop 0.04....pretty sure she gave 1*.

what she insult you? you got respond? btw nowadays I strict 5 mins waiting time (maybe extra 1 min).. since GRab very clearly stated the max waiting time already.
I think from now on strictly will not take GS during peak hour/high demand time... because that is the likeliest time to get matched ride. rather kuli more jobs to make up AR then suffer cheapo riders.
