not sure if anything to do with new or old AR system or not...some people (alot) just cannot tahan jam. thats why so many rather Q at airport. And then a lot also once kena bad day, refuse to learn from it in positive way, don't want to learn road shortcuts, don't want to learn alternative roads, no-go areas in KL at what time, good ports/hotspots for which area, only want to blindly drive and rely on Waze. Then when rain or super red surge come, proudly post on FB that they are resting at home.

THen end of the month claim Grab tipu everybody or that those making $ are all cheating.

I took Genting once (and never again) without any additional topup, not even return toll....

I'm a total noob when it comes to big fare jobs. I wouldn't even have taken that genting job in the first place but a fellow grab Rider/driver saw the job come in and strongly recommend me to take. he even mentioned can get tips. I blur blur drive them up and thought they would tip without me asking anything....
I consoled myself by makan angin up there cos I hadn't been there in over ten years. too expensive everything there...

I was thinking of doing morning block also, sapu all six MP...but cannot lah....started at 11am finish at 10pm (20min lunch break at 3pm), come out body already like zombie...head headache also.

I REALLY REALLY wish the integrated TouchnGo reader was available as an upgrade option for 1.3L. I think thats the most innovative/cool 'local' feature that they have!


If you think the employment situation is better there, think again. Especially if you are over 40,45 yrs...Those who got retrenched after 50 can be considered forced retirement d.
When I worked there in the early 2000's things were better, suka suka quit can find another job d. But even then those over 45 yrs old had harder time to find new job.
ANd its not like their garmen can do anything about it...you go read their papers...everytime also say "please dont age discriminate bla bla bla"...no use also. Just not enough jobs.

PS: last time their airport employ a lot of people. Now their latest airport terminal T4 (which is testrun for their much larger T5 terminal) is almost fully automated for the check-in/screening process!

why you care if its 1.3? Driving for GRab no need power and zoom..drive safe, otherwise rider report you for dangerous driving

Last time when I was there in the 2000's a lot of auntie and uncles (in their 70s!!) were cleaning toilets. At least with automation, they can live out their old age in dignity (with social security from SG garmen)...

go look at your history for that job. if the demand surcharge is almost 100% of the fare charge, confirm worth it. another way to look at it... how long it took you to finish the Puchong job? if less then 40 mins... that means you earning 60 per hr gross... full block MP also can't get that.

bro..sorry to say that job...probably breakeven/not rugi only..but depends also on the demand at that time. Since it was Saturday morning, a lot of drivers, less demand, but no jam, so I guess can also at least that job not rugi.

Example of worth it job (for fare players or HG but will take big fare):

Yesterday 730pm, from IKEA Damansara to Sunway Putra mall.

RM31. 14.5km (and yes the app distance betulx2 same with the GMap). Use Penchala Link, finish job in 20 mins.

PS: Another thing ...morning Weekend alot of part time drivers come out...so will drive down the prices. Better just aim short trip then at that time...still got whole day to recover bullet.
