Need help. How do i renew my maid permit/need fomema ?
I get to know that my agent charge me more than 1K.

Go to Immigration office in Putrajaya. Ask questions at the counter, they will tell you A-Z what procedures and forms to isi. Ask nicely and you will get all the help from them. If act like big boss like some ppl I see there, then better give to agent.

2 - go to fomema pay and select doctor
3 - bring maid n original passport to selected doctor
4 - results out within 1week
5 - go immigresen renew permit with medical result.

save your $$$ n do it yourself.
think you better go Jabatan Imigresen (or website) to check n ask what you need to do.

No need to go to immigration. Just register for MYEG and renew through there. Then go to MYEG center in Putrajaya for first time verification. Then it's done and they will send the permit after 1-2 working days.

I had renewed my maid's permit myself. For the first 3 years, the maid must do medical checkup everytime you renew the permit. Get the form from fomema's office, then, bring your maid for checkup.

After checkup, wait a few days/weeks for result. IINM, you can check via online whether the result is available or not.

After that, you can renew the permit. For the first time, you need to go immigration office to ... i dont remember, but something about enabling to to renew the permit online via myeg. Then, you go back home, renew your permit via myeg. The following year, no need to go to immigration anymore.

summary :
-go to fomema's office and fill up form the get a medical checkup sheet
-bring maid to clinic
-check medical checkup status online.. whether it's already available or not. No need to pickup the result.
The immigration also check the result via online only. So, there's nothing for you to do.
-(repeat above for the first 3 years or 3 times medical checkup. After 3 times. No need to do medical
checkup anymore).
-go to immigration to activate myeg online (for the first time, or everytime you maid renew her passport)
-renew via myeg

What does this mean?

The maid is not tied to the employer.

' We are unable to verify the Employer's NRIC number with the given maid passport number '

Kindly email the following information to maid@myeg.com.my

Name of Employer
NRIC no of Employer
Copy of Old and New passport no. of maid (if applicable)
Photo of the maid's permit

Looks like it - maids are employed directly under an individual. The employers details (IC) is written on the maids employment card.

There is a new ruling. Starting this year, 2018, the maid must do FOMEMA medical check every alternate years, FOREVER.
1st year, 3rd year, 5th year, etc until she quits the job.

The fomema process also is now, easier than before. Long time ago, you must present at fomema's office for registration. Nowadays, you just need to register online and pay online.
