If you're not running trading in Luno, keep money and coin in there for what? Just take out la.
A hardware wallet is not that expensive anyway.

US authorities are digging into the internal financial dealings of Barry Silbert’s expansive crypto empire, according to people familiar with the matter.

Federal prosecutors in Brooklyn are scrutinizing transfers between Digital Currency Group Inc. and an embattled subsidiary that offers crypto lending services, said the people, who asked not to be named because the probe hasn’t been made public. They’re also delving into what investors were told about those transactions.

Per Bloomberg

Thank your for your clarification on the points above.

what we are hoping for is actually running from the centralized system already in place. travel rule kinda bring everything back to where we are at.
Never the less thanks for bridging the gap and getting more onboard.

Does anybody know what will happen to RM stored in Luno if they go bankrupt?

Hello,

Your RM remains in a Trustee account.
This is a strict requirement by the Securites Commission to ensure the safety of all Malaysian user's RM

I sadly can't link any hyperlinks here on Lowyat

But you can Google this title to read more about our Trustee account: "Luno has appointed AmBank as primary banker for its exchange in Malaysia"

Rest assured your RM will always be there for you to deposit/withdraw.

Just some beginner question, I did notice Luno mention dynamic fees when transfer the ETH. Do the dynamic fees purely gas fees or Luno top up, on top of the existing gas fees charged

I noticed from my last withdrawals, Luno does take a cut approx 50%, it doesnt refund us the gas unused.

Terima Kasih, Ross! Can you also clarify if Luno Malaysia lends out customer assets to earn revenue? Like some of the other exchanges do?

Genesis Global Capital is laying the groundwork for a bankruptcy filing as soon as this week, according to people with knowledge of the situation.

The cryptocurrency lending unit of Digital Currency Group has been in confidential negotiations with various creditor groups amid a liquidity crunch. It has warned that it may need to file for bankruptcy if it fails to raise cash, Bloomberg previously reported.
