guys,

don you think Luno charging pretty high if we would like to trade btc on short term basis? basically, buy 2% and. sell 2% charges is about 4% charge fee to complete a cycle.
*
You should be trading on the Luno exchange instead of buying/selling direct. Trading fees are 0.25% maker, 0.5% taker.

Is Luno a suitable platform for trading? I find the 2% surcharge really expensive for buying and selling cryptocurrencies. Or is it a normal rate?
Transferring from one crypto to another is already a 4% surcharge

would like to check is it possible to have 2 different folders of Bitcoin in luno, whereby one is for education and one is for retirement?
*
You mean two different Bitcoin wallet addresses?

Yes, it can be done. You can generate a new Bitcoin address on top of the existing one.

You can name them differently, EDUCATION and RETIREMENT, if you wish.

First time bought ETH yesterday. I realised after purchase and deduct the fees, for balance e.g. 0.00xxxxx which is less than 0.01 cannot be sold off. What do you guys do with it? Transfer out to another wallet to sell it?
Appreciate anyone's feedback.
Thanks.
*
You can sell 0.00xxxxx if you use the DIRECT SELL function from your ETH wallet in Luno. Don't use the exchange to sell. It only accepts up to 2 decimal places.

See below for example of a direct sell from ETH wallet. It accepts 8 decimal places.

USDC Inkambing?...
*
I can't see a USDC wallet in my Luno account. I need to store USD stablecoin, whether USDC, USDT, TUSD or PAX.

USDC transfer fee how much?
*
USDC is an ERC-20 token, so it will be subjected to the high Ethereum GAS fees for transfer.

For USDT, we can use the very cheap TRON network instead of the ERC-20 network.

The fee amount is so small that KuCoin exchange considers it to be $0

Probably the actual amount is $0.007 smile.gif

I have a KYC-verified account with KuCoin.

But I believe you can use their P2P platform without KYC.

XRP network transfer fee is very cheap too.

KuCoin charges only 0.1 XRP ( less than $0.05)

It seems Luno Malaysia's official AmBank account has been reported by someone thus we are unable to do any transaction to that account since yesterday.

Have to use FPX if you plan to deposit money.

I tried a test MYR deposit transaction on the Luno mobile app and it only allows one method - FPX.

We cannot use the Luno Ambank account. It did not appear as a valid deposit selection.

Anywhere else I can cash out my BTC to MYR and fast transfer to bank account?

Luno has been problematic since 2016.

Now they want verification again and to transfer btc need 24 hour cooldown...
*
Use one of the following P2P platforms. I recommend Binance.

Been user since 2016. My account got reverification. Then these pop up:

"This market is not enabled for you."

"MYR transfers are currently disabled, please see the Help Centre for more info"

Telltale signs (remember Luno got B&ed?) and cursed timing to send my crypto to Luno.
*
I suggest you move your MYR/Crypto trading to a recommended P2P platform like Binance, Huobi or KuCoin.

P2P trading is fee-less and lightning fast. Takes only minutes to move Ringgit to-and-from your Malaysian bank account.

People are moving away from centralized fee-based crypto/fiat trading platforms like Luno, Sinegy and Tokenize.

how about Coinbase? Can we open acc & trade there? Coinbase is US company. Will it be safer than China base platform like Binance?
*
Yes, you can open a Coinbase account and trade there.

However, you must pass identity verification first.

Whether it is safer than Binance or not, I have no idea.

You can open a Coinbase account using the link below.
