i tested the stock tplink c1200... same results like u showed.

only that when i go 50ft 5ghz, it dropped to 65-70 even on a new device.

ethernet and 5-10ft, no sweat.. 105.
i am looking for data and confirmation from users if a better router can get >90 at 50-55ft on 5ghz wifi.

if doable, i will change to better router as well as get a 5ghz wifi dongle for use with my pc which has only 2.4ghz.

the stuff i read says it should be able to go as far as 100ft w/o significant loss... but i doubt it... 50 ft start to drop >30% already....

my unifi plan 50mbps, but only getting 22mbps max on lan, i thought it was old router problem, but today i changed a new router, it's still best getting 27mbps, whta's the problem? (called tm and they reset port, still same)

what the router requirment to get 40+ mbps speed on LAN?

But you gotta deal with the BETA background, otherwise, it seems to fix the random reboot issue. (now 6 hours + and counting)
Don't forget to save the configuration to HDD first and restoring the configuration from the file once firmware update complete. Reconfiguring the router from scratch is a real pain. 
edit: Not sure if it is placebo or something, but the beta firmware seem to have lower latency than previous AUS/EU firmware. (Wireless to Router) Browsing internet....looks faster than usual? (incognito mode)
Speaking of ddns, some of them asked me to refund RM50 and one even called me a cheater.

UniFi package definitely comes with HyppTV. I supposed RM 139 is inclusive of HyppTV already.
Why first month is so expensive, it is because you pay first and use later for UniFi. You are paying for your current month's charges (pro-rated) and full next month. From second month onward, it will be normalized.

UniFi must come with HyppTV. You cannot not subscribe for it, if it allows, many have ditched it away.
I'm quite sure your bill is prorated + full month. No more 30Mbps for 169. Share your bill here.
Mine is RM 189 excludes GST for 100Mbps. Share here and others can advise.

Need to see breakdown but I can tell you, TM hardly makes mistake unless they don't give you enough discount.

Actually I refused to explain further on billing issue because some just cannot accept it. There's no way you can subscribe UniFi without HyppTV, whatever advertised pricing you see is inclusive of HyppTV. If you can do us a favour and complain to MCMC about HyppTV and let it remove for you, we will be deeply appreciated.

I rest my case and please don't bother me anymore for billing issue in the future.
