Did read about the currents in Indnesia being a different kettle of fish. Like I said, will only do it if I feel comfortable. Just that it is a coincidence that I am going to this diveable places in the upcoming months. Bought my tickets even before I decided to go and take my OW. |

As tempted as I am to go for a dive every week, it's not a cheap sport. Hahahaha. Am thinking of flying off to Tawau/Semporna this Friday to Monday to escape a department meeting. So, so, so tempted to go do a dive there but yeah, I need to know my limits. |

Just be mindful of your no fly time. Taking road trip KK-Semporna is a PITA though. Basically all road trips between cities/towns in Sabah. The road conditions are less than basic. |

It's okay. I got my OW from Pom Pom off Semporna. You can dive at most sites as Semporna is very good and easy for OW. You can also do your AOW there before proceeding to Sipadan, because they need AOW to give you permit, otherwise at other sites you can just go and enjoy. |

Just got my OW last sunday at tioman. Damn fun. Starting to itch for more dives now. Where in MY to go for leisure dives suitable for newly certified OW diver?
