Try diving from Brunei. Are u in LBU? I was based there before, now in Brunei, actively dive Miri, thinking of Brunei now.
*

Quite expensive to drive into Brunei. They are very strict on glass tinting.

Just dived Labuan Cement Wreck during Raya. Visibility was superb, more than 20 metres. so many colorful soft corals all over the wreck. reef fishes were also everywhere and swimming all over you.

too bad only can stay below for 40 minutes sad.gif

I was just there too! It really is one big beautiful garden. Had a very lovely 60 min dive. If you weren’t already on nitrox, maybe consider diving it next time you’re there smile.gif
*
good suggestion. hmm.gif though it may be difficult to get more people to dive nitrox with me sweat.gif

Need some opinion from all the pro divers here. Currently when I went for diving, I will just wear top (Sharkskin Chillproof wetsuit). And I planned to get the dive pants now.

So, should I go with dive pants, so will be 2 pieces (top and bottom) ... or just get 1 piece wetsuit better?
*
i dive with t shirt and short pants before laugh.gif

got friends dive topless. malaysian waters.

Just came back from Vernon Banks over the weekend. Weather was not that great. Waves were around 1.2 metres. Underwater currents were strong. Kesian the fish keep kena thrown around. Only did 1 dive and it was called off lol.

Headed to Pulau Tiga for the night. Next day dived around Kuala Penyu waters. Lots of hard corals. Fishes not much.. Mostly parrot fish. some lobsters.

Some reefs and wrecks. The reefs are in okay condition but nothing special if you've been to other places in SEA. The wrecks are pretty cool, Cement Wreck is super gorgeous and covered in a forest of growth. Good vis is rare though.
*
Cement wreck is Labuan punya la. all these brunei divers encroaching malaysian waters illegally and claiming it as their own. doh.gif mad.gif

it is very true, cement wreck and blue water wreck do belonged to Malaysia water. But honestly going from Brunei is better than Labuan, one is the price is cheaper here and also operators are better.

Other than that, Brunei's Dolphin wreck, Bolkiah wreck, Australian wreck, American wreck and the oil rig is really nice to go too.
*
Australian Wreck and American Wreck also belong to Labuan lol. doh.gif

it's not about price, it's about encroaching other country's water illegally. brunei divers are lucky they didnt get shot by the marine police.
