There are a few like Rainbow Runner and Scubawarehouse. You can try overseas sites as well like dive gear express, dive right in scuba,or Diving express.

Thanks for the info. Found Rainbow Runner selling for RM850 ++ Anybody has any idea what is the name of USB cable for the watch called?

but then i also bumped into Mares Puck Pro. Trying to read the reviews now hmm.gif

QUOTE(greyshadow @ Jun 18 2018, 10:46 AM)
Just came back from Bali

Did 2 wreck dive at Tulamben

my first shore & wreck dive, which is super awesome

was struggling at the beach to put on my fins, slippery pebble beach + waves doesn't help laugh.gif
but after a minute swimming thru a barren pebble sea bed, seeing the towering shadows of the bow is absolutely breathtaking for me

first dive is swim around the wreck, seen my first family of garden eels as well
went back to shore after 30 mins, as I wasn't certified, DM wanna let me get used to it first, he gave me 8 weights, which is a bit too much for the dive, I had a harder time to control my buoyancy

lunch at beach, rest a while, back to the wreck again, this time he reduced the weight to 6, and I had a better control this time round, but I did a noob mistake as I loose my fin at one point, cause I didn't secure it enough at the beach due to the wave. tongue.gif doh.gif
second dive we managed to see more fishes & corals, and even swam thru the broken hull, which is big enough for a beginner like me.  A we found a sea turtle in the hull as well thumbup.gif
this time we dived for 40mins with max depth of 19.5M
did a short brief decomp stop otw back, my first as well wink.gif

Overall, a very good unforgettable experience, total damage = RM450 all inclusive, with return private transportation from Sanur, lunch, mineral water, & equipment.

Very good DM with extensive experience as well, Pak Asa, he's one of the first few pioneer DM on the island since 1996

Bali Marine Diving (BMD) in Sanur, small little dive shop at the beach front, which I'll highly recommend if you're looking for dive package there.

Wow you hero la. I already certified but didnt dive for almost a year also take a refresher course before my dive. And some more you go wreck diving. I don't even dare to do anything more than what i am certified for. notworthy.gif Guess i am really scared of dying laugh.gif

IMO, that wreck diving at Tulamben is pretty beginners friendly, nothing to scare about tongue.gif

I think KK has a shipwreck that's suitable for AOW wreck - https://www.thestar.com.my/metro/community/...reck-dive-site/ . I haven't dived it before though.

If wrecks are what you want to get into, I found this vid to be a good inspiration early on in my diving for the kind of buoyancy to work towards smile.gif

*
oooo thanks for the heads up. probably will try to dive that wreck if got chance hmm.gif

buoyancy have to be really good. last i heard labuan wrecks full of sea urchins sweat.gif

Just did my AOW at Bigfin divers Kota Belud last weekend.

Very unlucky day as it was the day that the typhoon wrecked Hong Kong and Kota Belud sort of affected. As soon as i arrived it was already raining heavily. The waves were strong, water was quite choppy. Visibility wasn't that great. Vomited for all 5 of my dives laugh.gif Even vomited underwater when doing PPB. My mistake for not taking any seasick medication beforehand either.

But my (last) Fish ID Dive at Mayne's Reef was the best. Loads of reefs everywhere. Visibility was much better here. Hope to return again during non rainy seasons.

How much was the AOW?
*
RM920, if want to do night dive add RM30. you can either do day trips there or stay at the onsite villa or tent. i did deep dive, navi, PPB, fish ID and drift dive. weather was too terrible to do night dive.

will post more photos of the place soon.

Hahaha. Okok. Will try out those that fit nicely and look good. 😎

Btw, looking for some comment here. I’m just planning to take up PADI OW certification. Been through a few DC. What if I get a quote whereby I have the freedom to choose my own timing to go to island, and it’s a private session (meaning only 2 diver to 1 instructor), and all inclusive accommodation and meals and gears. The price is between 2100-2500 myr. Is it worth? Thank you.
*
2 diver to 1 instructor is considered private? not 1 to 1?
