informed the SA about my small issues and hopefully it is solved

they are selling the TRD rims for around 1.8k

I asked them if i could change to their DVD-AVN, it seems like it can only be opt-in during purchasing the car, cant switch later on
guess i'm stuck with this DVD-AUX for 5 years if i want to keep the warranty

Today manage to changed the parking light(small light) and head light bulb myself.. phew..

Headlight bulb = Phillips White Vision 3700K (H4)
Parking light = Philips X-treme Vision LED 360 W5W 6000K (T10)

Parking light
- Left is the Phillips LED W5W 6000K, right is the original.

After done both side (parking light ONLY)
- Forgot to turn on headlight, so its only parking light.

Difficulty during installation
- For the T10 bulb is totally easy to change.
- For the head light, it is a bit hard as the power cable connected a bit tight to the bulb base, took me few minutes to pull out the cable steady and easy. Plus on the cable pin got some sort of lubricant, very greasy lol..

Overall satisfaction with this small mod

Total cost = RM 205.00

The Phillips WV 3700K bulb is better than original bulb, looks brighter and the color is yellowish white, which almost identical to day time light temperature. Very enjoyable during at night with this kind of lighting.

Any sifus tried this for their g spec or trd vios? Any thoughts or opinions? Hard to find 9012 halogen white bulbs though. And which parking light would go nice with this? Thanks!

TRD rim is the latest vios TRD design or year 2014 ? RM1.8k including tyres, balancing & alignment ? Walao.. if u change ur audio system with accessories shop, will it void the warranty ? u mean warranty to whole car or just the wiring ?

Original bulb is from Osram.

Depend on your spec, J & E spec use H4, G, GX & TRD use HIR2.

Changing those light won't mess up your alignment unless you go and twist the reflector adjustment screw.

For H4, just make sure the cut off plate in the bulb is at the bottom, then you're safe.


For bulb type between philips & osram. That's personal preference. I'm using Night breaker + T10 6700K

Bro, our vios is H4 type bulb right ? Can install other type of bulb ? which mean H7 type or other ?
This Phillips WY 3700k H4 is consider white colour ? JPJ can pass ? will kena block ?

Audio warranty is one year only.. later change to 200mm players which is easily can be bought

Which one recommended?

Personally will choose 195/60/15 more tebal as wont so bumpy. Still go for comfort type rather than sport type.
