May i know how much is the cost for the battery replacement? And u use 3rd party e.g bateriku.com or changed it at SC? Mine now 2 year same as u. I did service 40k in sc and sa mention the battery is in bad condition now.

Tyre, breakpad, lightbulbs, battery and exhaust (muffler + piping after 1 year) are separate from the warranty and thus won't affect anything.

It cost RM235. But since December 2018 got discount, got reduced to RM220.
I changed it at SC.
Better change, since the start/stop & DRL could drain battery very fast.
Even though your battery water still a lot, it won't have much charge.

Come to think of it, my car key also finish battery. Got charged RM 12 for battery replacement at SC

Ever since the beginning. Both battery (car & car key) replaced exactly after two years because too low.
Never use my backup at all.
Also my key contain rubber cover. Maybe that's why the battery low since need more power to let signal through.
I didn't know my car key battery died because SC told me there is a light indicator on your key

Hi, I drove my family member's vios (2018,1 year old car) recently and It seems like it is struggling to move/ accelerate especially when it is fully stopped(e.g traffic light) .Compared to my old dugong, it seems to be lagging by a lot especially when i want to accelerate from stop. I wanna ask whether can SC help to tune it to be better or anyway to improve it? I am a newbie, please don't flame me...thanks in advance....

and ECO on indicators ... Just to disable or enable ECO led light only?? I don't think so..

My car year 2017  performance pick up is not per my expected,  hence I consult Service Advisor, and Mgr, and asked me to totally disable ECO mode or using M+ / M-    if you want better response..

ECO function
Reduce throttle responses in favour of fuel saving consumption..it is primarily default engine setting.
Without ECO, .... Experience it out yourself the acceleration..

Few friends, you and me felt the acceleration response is better than before.. Which is engine default setting, eco mode when you start the engine..  Note, air con is cooler too.. With eco OFF.

Thanks to the Service Advisor, Service Mgr and many posted here for sharing their real experiences.. If they want better response and turn off the eco.

No point just turn OFF the ECO led light only at the odometer..
It is actually turn OFF the ECO mode, providing actual 107PS at 6000rpm, 140 Nm torque at 4200rpm..

Hence, my earlier question is, why we need to install throttle control which is 3rd party item, which may/may not jeopardise 5 YEARS warranty if there is any chance of claim.. Which I think rarely happen becos of Toyota brand worldwide.
