  I only interest on the "Paddle shifter and Eco/Sport button" The rest i really don care. The new look from behind look abit like mazda 2.

As long as it is a new look, its a new model. People will say you are driving new car. You buy vios in 2018, people who already know vios back in 2013 won't bother about your car.

Additionally, you don't get to have the features provided in the new model which i really like..

Yeah, that what i was complaining. You make it sound better, like a frog. Lol. I'm suspecting suspension tower not tight. Almost same problem with my gen2 last time. After installing 3 point strut bar, the problem gone.

I can explain this because i asked the toyota mechanic before, vios implemented a new suspension system which give more equal impact toward all four absorber, because there's hole in the spring system, which cause frog sound when kena air, thats what he said la

I am not from KL. 

Even if you are in kl or Selangor, you have to consider the cost to get there. If the cost plus the battery price almost the same you get on nearby shop, why waste time going there.

Done...toyota full syn 5w/40 really expensive compare to other.

I ask around the sc regarding ECO off. They answer it will really turn off the ECO not indicator.
The only way to disable dlr is unplug the cable to ballast which is not recommend. Not only me  complain during night time thet really annoying alot of ppl also complain. Nit much can do.

Then its really got effect for the ECO indicator. Gotta give it a try during trip back to hometown. Thanks for the info.

For DRL, doesn't they have fuse connected? Maybe remove the fuse will do? Just asking.

Trying at the moment, no difference. Just placebo effect. Even my fc looks normal.

it is true what toyota said. different in 4%. but to me, it's the other way around. eco not saving but waste 4% more... LOL

Hahaha we may have different preferences. Tbh i like the DRL. When my DRL kaput i straight go to SC to fix it. my car is 1 and half year now. The tech mention that the modul need to be change 

1% happy only that mean 99% still unhappy. Why.    Take it easy. I believe you have more than 15yrs of driving and may change a few car before Vios.
For me Saga 1996(2nd hand) 80% not satisfied
-When i buy i didn't check is it accident free. The car so vibrate especially dashboard and steering unbearable. Found out the front part of the car is dismembered and rejoin. Nothing can do.
-Every morning have to used Choke to start the car. After 2yrs+ i sell quickly.

Wira 1999(1st fuel injection),
-The best car i had for 10yrs.
-After 10yrs problem start to come engine need overhaul, gearbox problem.
-Every month need to fork out atleast rm500 for repairing here and there.
-Few month ago saw my ex-car which have repaint and drive by a old uncle. my ex-Wira 19yrs old.

Persona (elegance)2013
-My edition is Standard edition without ABS and rear disk brake. Persona is well known braking issue.
-A yrs later    Proton come out SV edition with rear disk brake and somemore much cheaper   
-After 3day i get my car i redo the whole car wiring and add new ICE. Afterward the car rattling everywhere. Get Used to it.
-Found out this car slow on acceleration.
-First years already only few month driving my car replace front wheel left bearing, rear wheel right bearing. Bearing have sound. Driver side windows motor.
-4yrs already replace 4times brake pad. 4times engine mounting. IAFM intake manifold (common issue happen all persona). Timing belt tensioner and many more which if i write it will be along list.  

Vios
-DRL ( which i solve)
-The car is so lowered even with ori absorber and spring. If 4ppl sit in the car much lowered and most of time crossing bump  
-This Vios rear bonnet no alarm or signal if not close properly or open. Happen while driving other good heart ppl horn to notified me.
-No auto door lock. I believe the new coming vios will have With speed-linked.
-The annoying beep so noisy. Gear (N) open door. When engine on you leave yr car but inside still have ppl (remote must place in the car to silent it)

Yup there is no perfect car. But what todo. Since when the time buying we set our choice the vios. Now we have to wait couple of years. When finish installment when consider a buying a new car again and history will repeat itself.

Well after 4month of driving this Vios there are bad but not totally all bad there are still some good.
-FC i manage to drive to terengganu and back to kl with 800km 1 full tank. (Although my car fuel was paid by my company but still it was the best car FC i ever had)
-I need to drive up to genting frequently. I manage to have my best time at 16min from first guard post to top. (Compare to all my ex-car none could reach below 20min.)
-Compare my ex-persona, Vios braking is far more better.
-Previously i heard and thought proton air-cond is the coolest. But seem Vios also so cool.
-Ppl complain Vios when rainning the roof top is so noisy. For me my persona like same level of noise.

My car buy from Cheras and service there 4time already also. So far the SA who handle my car was friendly and very helpful no issue with their service.

You have book yr car appointment? I make appointment using android apps everytime 9.45am sent car. 3times due to aligment , testing and check the problem i highlight to them 4pm also i collect my car. Last week visit nothing to complain and plain service no car wash as i prefer to wash my own service 20k mileage took me 2hours. I pickup my car 11.30am.

Guys, need advice.  So I noticed from the docs for 1000km service that my next service is on 29 Jan or 5000km WHICHEVER COMES FIRST.

Thing is, I took 1 month to drive 1000km.  Means by the time 29 Jan is only about 3 months means I estimate my mileage to be about 3000km only.  How? Do I still need to do my 5000km service on 29 Jan?  Cos 1000km service use semi syn.

I expect to hit 5000km first week of April 2019.

Yea... I think so? Haha.. Cause couldnt find other Malay female sa over there aldy.. So possible is her I guess.. Haha..
