I can get around 550 KM per tank, 70% highway 30% city..Full time RON 97 user. Always stick with Caltex.
Caltex fuel provide a faster gear shift (controlled by computer), eg: When to rev from static, it will rev to 1.5K RPM before computer manipulate to next gear (we are talking virtual gear here, controlled by computer).
Tried BHP RON97, it rev till 2K RPM then only shift to next gear. Which I believe here, Caltex have better power output, as computer sense the power output achieved faster in order to manipulate to next gear.
Plus, 2NR-FE engine consider as high compression ratio engine, which in this case, I believe RON 97 fuel can help to achieve the efficiency of this engine.
Just my thought.
